In this video, I'm reviewing three popular hearing aid models: ReSound Omnia, Phonak Audéo Lumity, and Signia Pure Charge and Go. All three devices are RIC hearing aids, which means the receiver is in the ear and connected to the device with a small cable. All three models are IP68 rated, dustproof, and water-resistant. While they are rechargeable, the amount of time they last per charge varies depending on the brand. The Signia model lasts 36 hours with five hours of streaming, while ReSound's Omnia model can last up to 12 hours with 100% streaming time. The Phonak model has the shortest battery life, with 18 hours of use without streaming. The devices can connect to smartphones for phone calls and Bluetooth streaming, but compatibility may vary based on the device used. I'm also highlighting some of the models' speech understanding features and sound quality technologies.

What is best of Signia ax and Phonak lumity? I have big problems to hearing if There Are noise or many voices

Hello and thank you for your comment. Both are really good hearing aids and it’s impossible for me to say that one is „better“ than the other. Especially when it comes to understanding speech in noise there is no „device A or B is better“. The best thing you can do is to find the right hearing professional who lets you try both hearing aids. What I like at the Signia hearing aids is their Own Voice Processing (OVP) which recognized the voice of the wearer and adjusts the amplification so that your own voice does not sound that weird. Primarily new hearing aid users benefit from this feature. Phonak is great with their AutoSense OS feature which adjusts and mixes the settings of the different hearing programs according to the current hearing situation. Also I like that their hearing aids direct streaming to any mobile phone with Bluetooth (Signia works with Apple devices and some newer Androids). However, the best option would be testing but hearing aids. Hope that helps! Best, Dave

Hello, and thank you for the comment. Honestly, I don’t fit enough Bicros patients that I could make a solid comparison of the Phonak and Signia devices (ReSound doesn’t offer a Bicros option). However, most of the features and the sound quality relies on the “main” hearing aids, which are described in this video. Best, Dave

Great video, how does the widex moment sheer conpare in size to these 3?

Hi Ash, thank you for the great question. I must admit that I haven't fit Widex hearing aids for years so I don't feel entitled to compare them with the three hearing aids. Sorry for that, just wanted to keep it real. Best, Dave
