Season 05, Episode 13: sup crew! we woke up to a pretty hefty storm in the morning after the forecast was calling for no snow. decided to head up to jupiter to get some turns in after the recent storm cycle went through and its safe to say it did not disappoint!

I have been taking AG1 for about a year. It has kept me from getting the leg cramps that were fairly chronic. Usually with water, but I mix it in a Nalgene bottle of beef bullion when its cold out, and occasionally with fruit juice. I swear by it! Good stuff! 😊

@@mateounk7836His favorite run over there are the Red Pine Chutes and Charlie Brown but they are on the wrong side of 9990 so you have to ski all the way down to tombstone and go back up two lifts to the top.

Hey Lucas, you gotta hit monarch mountain soon they yjust got fresh pow and they dont make any snow so you can ski for real. The double blacks go from a steep bowl drop, to the middle of powdery tree skiing and all the way to steep drops with huge cliffs and a minimum steepness of 50 degrees.

That’s awesome. My dad is 72, and skied Jupiter main bowl last week together, but that was as much as he could do over there. Me and my younger sister will ski anything in Jupiter though. Im 42, and she is 39.

Speed is indeed your friend. It creates stability and control. Always used to tell my buddies.... make sure you JUMP the jump.... dont let the jump, JUMP you!

Hey Lucas, been on the channel for a few years and finally got a chance to ski for a few days and hit up Jupiter. Terrain is definitely way gnarlier in person than on Go Pro. Its wild to ski terrain you've seen so many times on camera in person for me. Stay Stoked!

I just burned up my Alta/Snowbird pass limit on IKON, but maybe Joe can show me some double blacks he knows next season when I hit the big 70. I'm usually too chicken to ski the high bigger steep runs by myself.

Really enjoy your videos. You always do a great job and they are always entertaining. Wondering why you are on over 100mm skis for this day. Looks like a mid 80mm would have done just fine with those conditions.

I use a little bigger than mid 80's, Stockli Stormrider 88 works great for me. I have used it at Deer Valley during an 18 inch storm, off piste at Whistler, Snowmass, Aspen Highlands, Aspen Mountain and Telluride. I haven't come across a condition that the ski cannot handle. BTW, I really enjoyed the latest vid, with you and your dad at Park City.@@LucasCatania17

I just think folks should realize they don't have to quit skiing tough terrain just because they get older. However they do have to be in good shape. I bet Joe works out consistently as should all "mature" skiers.
