Watching this movie today in honor of the 106th Anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima. I just finished watching the 1952 version of Fatima. Our Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, pray for us. Virgo Potens, ora pro nobis.🙏✝️❤️⚘️

This is a nice 90' film about Fatima. It is trustworthy and only and entirely based on the 3 or 4 written testimonies of Lucia , the eldest seeer in 1916-17 . Those who out an opinion first should have the patience and critical attitude to read them (or watch the whole film ). She was sober, not shy at all, and would withstand infringes on truth with full courage.

the poor children. they went to the extremes when they did their sacrifices. No children should suffer ever. I feel so badly for them.

Bruna B they would not have been able to accept such sacrifices had they not been fully prepared by grace. We can’t understand this, and it seems improbable, or sad, because that type of sacrifice comes with a particular job for God. The little children were 100% consumed by Gods Grace, and Our Lady’s protection.

The Pope fainted when he saw the Third Prophecy of Fatima. Because what was written "The time and country when Jesus will come again." He had to publish it in 1960. It's not too late now, so the Vatican should disclose it immediately.

Do not be decieved Jesus said that the devil can masquerade as an angel of light. The Mary of the bible never sought her own glory. Jesus never permitted us to worship her or seek intercession from her. It is written that Jesus is the Mediator between God and Man. Never Mary never the saints or anyone else even angels. It is also written that If even any angel comes proclaiming a different gospel than what the apostles preached then let them be accursed!. Seek the truth from Jesus. He showed me , spoke to me and now I'm out of the Catholic church following only him not any denomination.

This film wasn't made by main stream Hollywood or even a well-known Catholic production company. It was directed by Daniel Costelle, a man from France and the film was shot over a few weeks in Portugal in 1990 or 1991, being released in 1992. Except for the actress who plays Jactina, who was French, all the actors were Portuguese, hence the film was dubbed for different languages. Sr. Lucia actually read over the script, which is lifted from Sr. Lucia's Memoirs, for this film before it was made and approved the film along with St. John Paul II who you see blessing the children who played the Shepherds at the end of the film. The film was made in a similar style to Jean Dallanoy's "Bernadette" (1988) and is a very accurate depiction of the events, even having the guts to deal with the penances the children took upon themselves. For almost 30 years this film has played near-daily at the Fatima Shrine in Portugal! There is a new film on "Fatima" coming this month which is more in a Hollywood style, so perhaps that will be more to your liking.
