@Banana in Condom i'd say it's got elements of what periods of depression can do to someone's outlook Sure, we;re seeing his functional stages, but his nihilism and using humour as a coping mechanism masking it to ohers is something i can relate to . Maybe not 'a representation depression (tm)', but i'd say a plausible portrayal of someone who's been through some shit.

I love this cheers business. Now I have been alive for almost 50 years but it is only in the last few years that I have heard the English say cheers like this. Otherwise I have only heard it when someone is raising a glass. Have the English been saying this only in recent times or have they been saying cheers (in place of goodbye not as a toast) for the last hundred years? It does seem to have a different flavor from goodbye.
@GoggledAgog3 жыл бұрын
It's used in place of "thank you", so you will hear it used in place of "thank you, goodbye" when someone has just done something for you and you are leaving. I'm not sure how long that's been the case though. I could imagine it spreading from the pub - saying 'cheers' to the barman as you take the drinks away, then saying 'cheers' to a shopkeeper as you take your shopping away, etc. - but that's complete speculation.

When people are fat do there bones grow? Like I mean the bigger you are the bones just stay in one place? I sound dumb right now but I literally don’t know
@thedarkknight9624 жыл бұрын
When people are fat, they just grow fat. That's the only thing that makes them big. Ripped body builders weigh heavier than these fatties because their muscle mass and bone density is very high.
@Plethorality4 жыл бұрын
I know what you mean. No, they don't get a bigger frame. They can have a very small skeleton, like skinny people, but with a lot of fat, that makes them look bigger than they really are. But under the fat, they are still small framed / small boned people.

No ,they stat the same person (i mean bone wise). They might even have weaker bones due to eating too much junk and no quality food.

'gros' en aquest cas és un disfemisme, per donar-hi entenent que 'gras' és un miquel, que per això el deixen de dir a l'hora de qualificar un home, sobretot si és present.
