Look up videos on this species by Tom Moran! It seems female variants are more brown, and the males are more purple/green or vibrant. Also there is strong suspicions of multiple colour forms rather than different species.

I read the title to this video as " The fastest tarantula name reveal" and I got super hyped to learn about a new tarantula 🤣 I wasn't disappointed though to learn Bella's new name! Always makes me anxious when you're waving your hand around over Linda/Bella/Bonita as we all know how fast and jumpy they get for their roaches 😆 I'm happy for you that your enclosure designs are flying off the shelf dude I've been following you for a few years now and ive watched all your videos so to see you coming from your tiny apartment making enclosures with your little pevil tool to full scale glass enclosures with your own locking mechanism designs is just so humbling to see. Hope you figure it out! It's important to know in case of bites!

The O. sheidtei is one of my favorite Asian tarantula. They are so beautiful. Also I think they would be fine with webbing from old tarantula, they often take over dens in the wild and probably would just clean out old webbing and add its own.

Oh my. This is awesome. This has been the absolute best recommendation from KZfaq ever. I had a small 5 T collection for years and I had them til they died from spider natural causes. 😊 Took a break from animals and moved around. Now I want some more T in my life. So I get on the interwebs wanting the best enclosures and my search brought me this channel. It was the video showing off the parts of the enclosure, the top sliding out for full access was where I was hooked. You are so good to your animals. It shows in every video. What a beautiful human you are! Much respect and love to you and your human family AND critter family! 🕷️🕸️

The terrarium parts are great Petko. Although it would be great if you made the parts by the meter so that they could be cut to needed length somewhat like the rails for sliding terrarium doors. Can confirm the temperament of the Dominican Purple, my most defensive spider of all. And that small one is not how mine looked when it was younger, though they do go through color changes as they grow.

Really enjoying your videos. I wasn't aware about the comunity of Sands Collectors. Altought is a nice concepts and it sounds epic, I really wanted to point something out: in some parts of the world, especially little places with little beaches, is illegal to pick up sands and take it away. In some parts of Italy they have to put this prohibitions because this trend as gone out of control at some point and some beaches started to experienced several holes in the grounds, due to people scavenging the sands. I'm pretty sure that the Sands Collectors Guild (this is how I picture them now!) are aware of this and take their sands from places not at risk and in few quantities. But it's somenthing to be awere of, I think? Be careful from where you collects and have a nice day yall!

I had 2 thoughts regarding the T that you weren't sure on the species. 1 - it may be possible that after some more molts it's colours change? And 2 - it reminds me of the Columbian Giant Red Leg spider. I know that yours doesn't have red legs...yet? I guess wait and see what future molts show us. Please let us know what you find out! So I decided to name my Avicularia Avicularia, Metallic Pink Toe Tarantula Linda. While I own a Desert Curly Hair Tarantula & recently got a White Striped Knee Tarantula! A good future name for a tarantula should b “Tony” or “Patrica”!! Thx for putting out quality content, we appreciate you. Keep up the good work & take it easy! 💜

I own four tarantulas of Phormictopus sp. Dominikan purple an all of them look like the one you rehoused! Never seen one with a white carapace :o

I think spiders worry more about present vibrations on the old web than the actual old web.

I think the old webbing is at first stressful for the tarantulas, but once they find it empty, they probably use it as their own home. Ants do so with old ant nests too, first exploring carefully, then settle in if needed.

Phromictopus spiders tend to change colours a lot between molts and even between specimen. I've got two P. Sp. "Bayahibe" from the same egg sac and their coloration is also different to a striking degree. One has nice violet hue while the other has very pink legs.

Sand is a must have texture is the what makes the substrate look more natural

Are you allowed to receive sand from Western Australia? I know that might sound weird but I’m wondering if I can send you some sand from down south of WA next time I’m there (provided I’m allowed to export a small amount out of WA coz our laws might not let me) - it’s almost pure white and super fine in texture.
