Over sensitive about comedy . And commenting to delete. Is rather petty. Suppose they rather have people upset and fueled watching war and politics than laughing and sitcoms from years ago . Thats not the type of world i wish to be in. Love faulty towers.

Lol. Smiles and laughter is ubiversal. Comedy poinnts out issues , brings people together, and thats why its being regulated. I think people miss the point and are offended based on their own prejiduce. There are comedians i like and those i dont, it does not mean i complain or report those i dont like . I try avoid propaganda.

@@golden.lights.twinkle2329 It was briefly removed by the BBC two years ago but then reintroduced, so it's not "banned" at all... Besides, the BBC is just one organisation.

They never will make classics like this anymore. Writers are not allowed to write anything in case it offends someone from planet Snowflake.

After dealing with customers in a repair industry it's easy to understand Basil. They are annoying mostly. But I did meet a nice young lady and spent some time talking about surfing.

I remember my dad showing Fawlty Towers to me and my brother for the first time, we rolled our eyes expecting some lame old TV show. How wrong we were, absolutely loved it and one of my favourites to this day.

There hasn't been anything worth watching since, this was pure gold. And to think the guy at the BBC almost killed it by writing it wouldn't be worth trying...didn't think it would be funny.... I haven't laughed with anything else this hard, over and over...and I've seen them all over and over here...daily I might add...

This show is so insane!! I love British TV. I grew up listening to BBC radio all the wonderful stories and plays. I am fond of the British too, esp in their dedication to literacy and their left brain approach of practicality and discipline. : ) Long live the Queen lol for now
