I don't even own a Toyota or intend to replace any of those parts on the car I do actually own. I just like her voice and the joyful way she works, no matter what she is doing. It is also quite clear that she knows exactly how to do what she is talking about. All in all, a winning combination and a pleasant way to spend some KZfaq time.

Love your videos! I am trying to get up the courage to change the thermostat on my 1999 4Runner I have had since it was new. Long story, but it’s over heating. I think I gunked it up with Bars Leak Seal. I’ve since used a better leak seal that is working, but the shops I’ve taken it to want to do a head gasket repair or new engine and I just want to get some more miles out without a big investment in an old vehicle. No more check engine, but the temp creeps unless I have the heater on full blast. Last mechanic I talked to who has a shop in his pole barn and came highly recommended as one who will only fix what is absolutely needed, didn’t want to have anything to do with it. Anyway, thanks for the encouragement and guidance!

I own a 2003 4runner with the same engine. You must have read my mind because I need this exact work done on my truck. I need a new water pump & front engine seals & hoses replaced. Then move to the top & replace my spark plugs and head gasket. Then replace my rear engine seal & oil pan gasket. Also get all new shocks & breaks installed. I know Toyota is going to charge me alot, but it's work that has to be done. Hopefully I get a tech like you who will be meticulous with my repairs.
