This game looks amazing, and I love seeing Cream being more included in the story. The ending line Sonic gives before the credits is very touching "Glad you're back!" Because we're glad that Cream's made her mark again! 🧡 Also, Ariem is a cool character, I wouldn't mind seeing her again in the IDW comics.

Might be just me but, Sonic sounds like a mixture of his Frontiers voice and his original high pitch one (Like how Roger did with Boom Sonic). Pretty nice combo. THANK YOU ROGER CRAIG SMITH!! YOU ARE THE G.O.A.T IN MY BOOKS!

This game has such a great style, and the animations are probably the best in-game rendered cutscenes we've ever had. The characters just look so expressive and alive when animated like this.

Considering we've hardly seen Cream the Rabbit in many many years (except in the comics) it is kinda surprising and nice they're giving her focus in the story. With Fang being a key secondary villain in "Sonic Superstars" (after disappearing for decades) it's nice they are finally giving obscure characters in Sonic more attention. Big the cat relaxing fishing phone game when?

Is nobody gonna talk about the fact that Ian Flynn was a writer in this? Sure, this is no Frontiers, this is a simple, short, sweet plot but it totally works on its favor. Just compare this to Sonic Lost World's plot, both of them don't aim for the most complex thing ever but Dream Team goes straight to the point, the dialogue doesn't try to be "funny" for kids, and in general just has a nice flow, so it's short and sweet like I said. And THAT'S how you make good use of these lighter and less tense stories, props to people involved in this, the character interactions also makes Lost World look like trash... not that it's a hard thing to do but, you got me.

For a mobile game, these cutscenes go over the top of expectations. There are so many great things I could say about the characters and their interactions. From Cream's involvement with the team, to Knuckles and Ariem's relations in responsibility as guardians, even Ariem's character in particular is great. Hardlight really outdid theirselves with this game, even if it's short...short but sweet

Wow. If I had a nickel every time Tails helped Cream with a new friend in the post credits of a game, I'd have two nickels. It isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Wow, I think this might just be the smoking gun that SEGA needs to invest in some newer, more animation-friendly models for newer mainline titles. There's so much more bounce and fluidity to the characters' movements here. While it's lacking a bit of polish (nothing new for Sonic) it looks miles better than anything we've seen from modern Sonic outside of pre-rendered video. These characters are so much more charming when they're allowed to be more emotive with their body language.

Being a huge fan as a kid, its nice to see how much they did improve. I love the cutscenes and the facial expressions, its pure gold! Love how the characters were freed with their """""" pair""""", like Sonic and Amy, Tails and Cream (pls dont shipp, theyre kids.) Knuckles and Rouge. I LOVE TO SEE CREAM AND CHEESE ARE BACK!!

i wasn't too fond of the voice changes in frontier but eventually warmed up to them because it actually made them sound more mature and serious after all they've gone trough, specially Amy since she seemed to have grown out of her crazy stalker personality and stopped going after sonic and actually became a independent and more mature person. But what in the name of what's holy they did to Rouge's voice?

I am so HAPPY that Cream and Cheese are FINALLY back! I mean, their last appearance was in the Mario and Sonic Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, last time they were playable was the 3DS version of the Mario and Sonic Rio Olympic Games and their last appearance in a main Sonic game was Sonic Generations in 2011! No I am not counting Sonic Forces Speed Battle.

I'd love to see the alternate scenes. Like what if you chose Amy to fight Crabulous, or Tails to fight the Four-Men robot etc

Seriously, it's so frustrating that scenes like these where Sonic characters actually interact with one another in a meaningful way are such a rarity in this series. Normally it's just "Here's Sonic spending a whole game being BFF's with some new character who nobody asked for and who doesn't even look or feel like a Sonic character and who will never be seen, heard of, or mentioned ever again and we have to treat it like it's the end of the dang universe. Meanwhile all of Sonic's actual friends are stuck on the sidelines twiddling their thumbs with nothing worthwhile to do in the story!" Or it's "Oh look! There's Sonic's lame-o friends! Herpy Derp, ain't they silly? Ain't they so useless without Sonic? See, see critics, we hate Sonic's dumb friends as much as you do! Yeah, we get you, we're totally on the same page! Please buy our games!" I'm so sick of that crap. Sega, stop letting haters and detractors dictate how to make your games and how to utilise your characters. Here’s my take: Graphics were amazing, but the voice acting and story fell a bit flat. The bosses had amazing designs, but were incredibly easy. The only boss I’d consider hard is the Four Man, given how the angles felt weird and the mechanics for Cream are new. The final boss didn’t even feel like one, just another course. If they had improved the game mechanics and put in more effort, the game would’ve come out amazing. Best parts? The Foremen looking at each other in confusion, the Guardian Hunter snapping, and the narrative.

I wish rouge’s voice was deeper and sexier, and it’s not 😞

Its great that they got Michelle Ruff back as Cream after not having recorded new lines for her since Generations On the other hand its NOT great that they brought back Karen Strassman as Rouge because A) this voice might be even worse than her Team Sonic Racing voice, and B) she is just a bad person in general!

Let's have a moment of silence for all the poor android users that can't play this. The fact that you need an apple phone and a membership to play this is absolutely ridiculous they really put all that hard work into a game that's only for an apple arcade exclusive, this has to go down as one of the worst Sega decisions ever like we get it you need money but people are rarely going to play this if you make it only for one specific device you guys gotta do better.

While most of the cast sound awful, Mike however sounds great! Its almost as good as his performance in Sonic and Tails R, given the extra menace he's channeling in his voice, unlike in Frontiers where he was more likely to put you to sleep than frighten you. Especially when he's talking about roads to Sonic in a similar style to Doc Emmett, in Back To The Future pt.3, when he's talking about the future while nursing a whisky. But no complaints from me here for Mike.
