VANCOUVER, BC - Award winning videographer Erik Andersen, owner of Love Story Media, was commissioned by Showcase Pianos to produce a video for 'Fazioli', the rare Italian brand of pianos. The exciting new video features clips of a short performance by Evgenia Rabinovich, Amy Yu, as well as interviews with concert pianist Angela Hewitt, Showcase Pianos owner Manuel Bernaschek, and even a few words by the famed pianomaker himself, Paolo Fazioli.

After filming weddings almost exclusively for five years, Love Story Media now offers commercial videography. This video was commissioned by Showcase Pianos, the exclusive dealer in BC for the very rare and highly acclaimed Fazioli piano. We were asked to create a short, memorable video that would create excitement around this luxury class product and define what is so special about the Fazioli piano. The video will be displayed at both Showcase Pianos locations and as part of Fazioli promotional campaigns around the world.
Filming took place at White Rock Baptist Church, three private residences including a truly grand penthouse apartment, and at the stunning Showcase Pianos in Aberdeen Centre, Richmond. We had the opportunity to meet Ingegnere Fazioli himself, and capture two extremely talented young artists performing on fine Fazioli specimens.
On a personal note it was an honour to be allowed to film Angela Hewitt and even more so to steal a few moments of her time for an interview. She is a living legend and a great Canadian artist. This was a thrilling and inspiring project that opened my eyes to the creative possibilities in commercial video.

Proud member of the FAZIOLI owner's club...I was able to acquire a well-maintained 15-year old F228 (one owner) about 10 months ago. A dream instrument, never going back! Met Sr. Fazioli here in Oakland and asked him, "Did you just wake up one day and decide to build the perfect piano?" His answer, "well yes, essentially".

It is of course a fantastic piano, with a lot of reserve volume. It is not neccessary to attack forcefully. You can relax and let the instrument speak.

You'll be able to see (and hear) a Fazioli piano at the Honen's Competition in Calgary, which boasts having the highest cash prize in the world for the winner. You would have also seen the Fazioli piano on stage at the Chopin and the Tchaikovsky Competitions. It's Pollini playing Chopin Etude n. 4 op. 10 but I can ensure you it was not on a Fazioli because when it was recorded Fazioli pianos didn't existed yet
