Nach einem Totalausfall (durch höchstwahrscheinlich) Wasser an meinem Paralane2 bin ich sehr dankbar für eure Tipps. Denn mein Rad bleibt in den nächsten Monaten bestimmt nicht in der Ecke stehen :).

So does it mean I can cross a small river or a big mud without killing my motor? Never had any issue with a Bosch cx but here I'm a bit more worried... Is the ride 50 better at this exercice or is it exactly the same built?

Bonjour je possède un vélo exélius route équipé du moteur Fazua,au cour d'une sortie club nous avons eu des averses orageuses, soudain mon moteur s'est éteint, après diagnostic mon moteur a eu un court circuit électrique...moteur foutu est ce normal? Comment anticiper pour protéger le moteur je pensais qu'il était étanche en en-cas d'averses.pourriez vous m'expliquer ce qu'il faut faire je n'ai plus confiance pour 5000e d'achat c pas normal

Ich fahre das Nuroad Hybrid. Trotz Schutzblech drückt sich Wasser und Sand an der unteren Kante des Drivepack rein, also am Ende des Radiators > Übergang zum Rahmen. Ist der Sand erst mal drin knarzt der Antrieb fürchterlich. Nun wollte ich Ohne Schutzbleche fahren und überlege eine Art Mini-Schutzblech an der Metallfläche des Motors diese Kante überlappend zu basteln. Hat da jemand schon eine Lösung? Oder bin ich der einzige mit dem Problem?

Beim letzten Tipp sagt ihr, dass man zum Waschen vom Bike das Drive Pack und den Akku am besten rausnehmen soll. Dann ist ja aber die Schnittstelle zum bottom bracket ungeschützt? Oder soll man das Bike nur mit eurem Downtube Cover waschen? Beste Grüße

Hi there. This is Marcos, from Brazil! I bought a trek ecaliber 2 months ago. As you Know E-caliber comes with a fazua 50 motor. After using this bike for a couples of months I started hearing a noise which comes from the drivepack. That happens 30 or 40 min after I started riding my bike. I am so dissapointed with this noise. It bothers me a lot. It is an expensive bike and I just hope it works properly.

Hallo, beim Einsetzen des Akkus blinkt dieser. Ich habe die USB Abdeckung geöffnet und es lief Wasser raus, was mache ich nun???

Ich habe ein Problem mit meinem FAZUA ENERGY 250X Akku. Auch wenn es nach dem Drücken der Power-Anzeige aufgeladen wird, bleiben die Leds für maximal 2 Sekunden an und schalten sich dann wieder aus. Was ist das Problem? Ist der Batterie leer? Oder muss ich ein neues Setup machen?

Has anyone experienced a rattle sound emitted from the Fazua drivepack latch when riding over bumpy terrain? Or if you lift and drop the front end of the bike to the pavement....rattle, rattle, rattle?

I added a strong velcro strap to mine. I don't trust the latch mechanism on bumpy terrain. It fell out once.

@@multilingualmob5531 Ahh ok, I ride my only off road and that has drops, jumps etc. Nothing extreme but i'm now starting to have other issues with it, like motor cutting out intermittentlya nd water ingress problems. The water contains mud and is very hard to clean out of the drivepack between battery and motor. It collects in there and blocks the drainage easily. How it's getting in there I do not know! Today it got in there and it wasn't even raining just a small amount of standing water and sure red light came one and lost all power. It's not worked since. Looking into it now, diagnostic shows nothing...

@@jondonnelly4831 Wow! That sucks Jon. I'm afraid that the system might still need additional field trials, especially trail trials. Luckily I'm just a casual rider on city streets and I haven't experienced any problems yet?

@@FAZUA Nee, mach ich nicht. Eine Idee wäre doch eine Gore-Tex Membran oder ähnlich, die Hitze oder Dampf rauslässt aber kein Wasser rein. Oder ein Ventil, Wasser kann raus aber nicht rein?

Fazua in my opinion is poorly designed.

After purchasing it, I realized you were absolutely right. There are quite a few fundamental design flaws. - Why is downtube collecting water in the first place? - Why is it leaking black oil all the time? - Why is the locking mechanism on the battery and not on the Drivepack? - Why do I have to check if the BB and Drivepack connection has come lose after a couple of rides? - Why is the lock from a different brand and has no proper integration with Fazua system, which makes it too tight, too loose, breaks, etc.? Makes me wonder who designed and manufactured these. Far from the image of "Made In Germany". I visited a German city and rented a Bosch eBike for 4 days and had no issue with the electronics whatsoever!
