OMG!! Fantastic programme. I was getting 1200m, on average, in the suburbs on CE. After applying this FCC patch I'm getting about 3500m! I can't wait to try the countryside. I'm not computer literate and this guy took time exchanging emails with me till I got it done. Excellent service, nice guy and brilliant patch, well worth a few quid. 😊

I did a quick test of this mod yesterday flying out at 30m altitude purposefully going behind trees to block the signal. My friend's CE mode Mini 3 managed to go 350m away behind the trees before loosing signal. Mine with the FCC mod managed 685m. Very happy!

Did a quick range test today over an urban area. Prior to the update, I was getting only 300 meters before the signal became weak and got a disconnect at 330 meters. I just flew it in the same location after the mod and it went out to 630 meters before dropping to amber, I didn't bother going until I got a disconnect. That is a huge improvement over the pre-hack range and confirms that the controller really is in FCC mode. Tomorrow I'll fly it over some countryside, but I'm pretty sure I'll see it going out to a few km before it goes amber. Great hack thanks.

I was one of the first to be skeptical and comment on the price but people change. I bought this this morning and had great support with the installation. Now waiting for an opportunity to test it but I'm happy with it.

Got yesterday and after initial problem getting running and superb support i was up and running shortly after. 2500m today with Mini 3 Pro in built up area, whereas previously was lucky to get 800m.

I feel like a kid in a candy store. I finally have my controller in FCCmode. I flew 3200m over my home town. And still had bars left in the orange. Before that i could fly up to 1670m 😍

Did this today in UK before I could only get 300m on my housing estate today nearly 1km and this is heavily built up area with WiFi interference so can’t wait to rest in the countryside soon, easy to setup, RTH works perfect still and I see no issues using this. thanks 😊

22/11/22 I was a bit septic because I didn't see anything similar elsewhere but well, for 70$, I gave it a try and it worked flawlessly so thank you ! The person in the mail was very fast to respond and helpful. It was really easy to unlock FCC, it took me 10 minutes. I did a test fly yesterday in town so very bad environment and my range was super short. I did the same today after patching for FCC and the difference is incredible, muuuuuch longer range ! I hope we will be able to keep this mod for a long time :) Thanks again ! Houarican

I did the hack yesterday on a Dji Rc Pro Using a Mac and Parallel. Had some problem running the hack but with exelent support from Andrea Zega I now fly my Mavic 3 in Fcc mode.

This is a perfect solution. I've just tested a week ago and it worked well. The signal was increased and the drone was able to fly much farther with good signal.

Works line a charm! Sometimes it’s a little work around but thanks to the almost instant support all is fine! Thanks, Merry Christmas!

just made a flight test today ... in a scenario where I have flown in the past, I have reached double the distance of the CE mode and I still had the full signal on the remote control ... FCC rulez! I'm definitely going to make a comment to the guy who called this hack a 'scam' without even trying it! IMHO the patch is a bit too pricey, I'm sure it was hard and challenging to succeed in the hack ... but consider that with a lower price there would be many many more pilots willing to buy it

Works perfectly, just follow the instructions exactly.

I did install it and it works great my dji mini 3 pro. The installation was easy and the guide was usefull. It's expensive but worth it for me. Today I tested it and it fly's twice as far. The long range that I tested today is 2000m with full bars. I Love it :)

I did it. Installation Win10: First start the DJI RC FCC.exe -> Message re-run program -> restart -> after a few seconds the CMD-Window was closed without a message -> Look in the Downloadfolder -> the file pass.txt is missing -> download pass.txt again, restart DJI RC FCC.exe, than succes, the DJI RC was restarted. Later, after a manual reboot of the DJI RC the Device ask me for access to the GPS Data -> YES. Flight Test TODAY: More Range, better Video without freeze, everything works fine. THANK YOU. Its expensive but it is worth!

Nice vid, i use the FCC hack with the air 2 S, It takes about 5 seconds before flying and it was free theres no messing around with flight apps etc pure long range as far as you like before battery expires !

UPDATE: IT NOW WORKS WITH DJI RC AND RC PRO WITH LATEST UPDATES!

Pretty straight forward. They had some server issues but they resolved it really fast. Works like a charm. Just run the app first to register your drone SN, And rerun it to patch the drone.

19 euro....was meaby a good "donation"... the risk with fw rc update , patch no work any more is concrete, e no certain patch be update and working again.

I did it yesterday with a brand new Mini3 but ran into some Win11 driver issues. I had no idea what was going on, but Rimzlers support via Email was awesome and helped me to finally have my RC patched. Drone and RC were on latest firmware. Works like charm, thanks again for that man! :) Was well worth it! The range is now incredible!

Hey Rimzler, i think a lot of people would appreciate some transparency about the FCC patch servers being 'down'. -What is the reason the servers are down? -Will the servers ever come online again? -Is the developer even communicating with you? -What are the future plans? -What about the people that already paid for this and if this solution is abandoned? Seriously, i think this is the least your community deserves to know.

69US is to way much. There is App on mavic drone forum. Free of charge, you just connect your mobile to controller and click one button. The issue is you need to do each time you power your drone.

I'm having gimbal issues with this permanent FCC mod and the Mini 3 Drone. He gimbal could go completely crazy and instead of positioning himself quickly from front to bottom, he would sometimes look up diagonally. Or he was swinging and spinning. After resetting the radio, the problem stopped. So the drone is functional and I got a new one, so I'm testing whether everything works. If I had sent it under warranty, I would have made a fool of myself by sending back a fully functional device... After re-uploading the mod to the RC radio, the gimbal problem returned. Well, whatever it is, what's the point of the drone's range when the gimbal goes crazy and, what's worse, you have to turn the drone off to calibrate it. Calibration of such a glitched gimbal without restarting the drone does not produce positive results. If the gimbal does not move up and down, the rest works fine. I had a drone with a lower firmware of 0200, but after the service it came back from 0500, downgrade r only to 0410 and still the same. I also had the radio with low firmware, 03.0100, but I uploaded 03.1400 and I'm waiting 2 hours for the FCC mod to be reinstalled. So this mod has some useful features, but it also causes serious stability problems.

I purchased yesterday. It worked like a charm. I just flew my Mini 3 Pro with DJI RC. Before this when using CE, my distance limited to 500m. I always got signal lost. But today I achieved 3km before RTH. That was crazy different compared to CE. Impressed with this patch. It worth buying. I can conclude that this patch is legit. I don't mind with the price because I never tried other mods or patches before. After watching this video, why not I try this one and infact it's permanent. Before buying this (as it's rather expensive), I would love to see a real comparison of before and after, and with the newest firmware ;-)

I tried this today and it all seems to have worked fine, which is great! Haven't done any long-range tests yet but the controller certainly shows it's in FCC mode even when the drone updates its GPS point. Just a couple of things if I may: Will updating the controller firmware require a repatch? Also, will you let us know if future firmware updates stop working with the patch? Would be very nice if you did so we can avoid updating. Thanks!

I had the same situation with drifting drone!! The moment I start the drone it went left ,hit the roof, turned off and start falling. While falling drone decided to correct it self and hover. But instead of hover he flew left again and hit the house wall. Propellers was fucked , but magically everything else was working fine .

The FCC hack works, but i find it kind of concerning why it wasn't mentioned there would be a Trojan false positive for this executable, neither on the website and neither in the video. 69 bucks is also quite expensive... but i guess it's a personal choice if you want to pay for it. These kind of things should be funded by donations imho 🙂

And another tip, I use Litchi and fly VR, much better in sunlight for more precise flying, use Samsung oculus goggles I adapted and a Samsung S10 plus phone, it's great. Litchi has far more settings than the Fly ap. I dont Belive I could do this with the Mavic 3 as sdk not released...

Anyone tested this with the new aircraft firmare v01.00.0400. The DJI RC-N1 controller go's to v04.14.0400 and the DJI RC go's v01.02.0000. My question does the FCC mod stays working??

Hi, I’ve only just got round to doing this again after the server being offline but when I run the tool it saw ‘installation prohibited’ and to contact support. The pass.txt file is in the folder with the exe I’m running and I’ve also tried running as admin but still no joy

Works like a charm. Installed the patch and took my drone for a test drive I Denmark yesterday. On CE I lost signal and video quality flying 1200-1500 meters out. With the FCC patch I took the drone 6000 meter out without loosing any signalbars and with perfect video quality. Could easily have taken it farther. My Mini 3 Pro just got even better/funnier. Highly recommend the patch it is very effective and is permanent 👍

Used this today. Fcc didn’t install. Told me it was. Ran program again and told me it’s already installed. Reset controller to factory settings. Ran programme again and still telling me it’s already installed. Upgraded firmware, downgraded firmware and still telling me it’s installed. 😢😢

Hi Rimzler, I bought it for the RC2 version 02.00.0000 but apparently DJI found a way to prevent this and the patch did not work. My fee was refunded, but my problem is not money, I want FCC mode. I know you have contact with Sincoder. Can you contact him and find a solution to the problem?

Great product, I was a bit skepticle at first but so worth the money imo! i used to be able to get to 500m now since the FCC i just did my first flight at 1.7km! mind blown, great customer service too very patient 5*

i think we need to start looking for other soultion on how this mod works - i guess its replacing the firmware files belong to the radio transmission from the fcc version (as modem files) we gotta find a way to work this mod or we are stuck in ce version forever.. hope the guy will recover and help us ..

Today a new firmware has been released for the remote control, which brings the dji flight application to version 1.7.8, and a new firmware for the drone itself. We will check if the patch is still compatible.

Will this work with firmware 02.04.2320 on an Air 2S and DJI RC? I (stupidly!) updated my firmware to use the DJI RC, and now I can't downgrade.

Does this mod unlock the ability to control lighting? After the last update on the mavic 3 classic, the backlighting only works automatically.

Doesnt work since the firmware update (goggle support) Basically made my drone unusable as i struggle to get 500m CE mode.

Through my own attempts I managed to dump the complete current firmware of the rc and I have a possibility to flash it to the rc. I now need help to modify the firmware so that FCC is always active. Please contact me if anyone knows about this. I would then like to make this solution available to everyone free of charge.

Until DJI fix it than you get covered by disclaimer... And if dji force the update as you cannot fly anymore, just money wasted.

Updated: The latest (as of this post) DJI RC PRO V03.01.1100 took this hack perfectly. Thanks to Rimzler and to DJIRCFCC for helping to get the updated .exe file. Those of you who already have the hack from the past...you don't need the pass.txt and you run it only once...and it works! Previous successes save your controller on their database.

DJI RC V01.02.0000 i connect rc to pc with windows 11 i open dji assistant 2 see me rc i close dji assistant, double click DJI RC FCC which is in a folder on: C, the program takes the serial number and a message appears that says to restart the program, double click on DJI RC FCC starts the patch window closes it restarts dji rc and it is always on this way, money wasted
