Hi folks, with thanks to member "galbb" from the Mavic Pilots forum, here is the FCC hack tutorial.
Thanks to commenter "LISTEDGames" a USB C device is needed, Micro USB will not work.
Please download the Android (not ios) APK file and instructions from the link below.

This should work for most DJI drones, including, Mini 2, Air 2, 2s, etc.

Brilliant. Borrowed a friend's controller, followed your instructions, and now in FCC. What a difference, before I was lucky if I got 800 meters. My eyesight is better than that! Great video, simply to follow, and the hack has stayed in my drone allowing me to use my DJI-RC unit.

Hi. I can confirm that it did work on RC controller, hovewer once you switch of the drone the CEE is back so you have to redo everything again. Its good solution if you have RC n1 controller. You just connect the phone and you re-hack it. With RC controller you basically need RC N1 to hack RC controller. its time consuming and is not worth it. Thank you for the video!

I just got a mini 3 Pro and updated to the latest firmware and also found this hack does not work. I'm assuming if this does not work, none if them do for 0600 firmware will. Any thoughts on if you think there could be a version (paid or free) at some point in the future?

I have installed the APK, I have followed all the steps in the video and when I press patch, I get this message "Not connected try again or check the cable connection (you should connect to the bottom usb port on the controller while patching then you can switch to the top one)". The hack is not applied and I cannot put the FCC mode. What's going on?. The Control NC-1 works perfect. I hope help.

It worked on mine, I have the RC with screen and the MINI 3 pro done it using a friend's RN1 RC as in the video, then took my Mini3 pro out and flew it over 4,055 meters, was double what I was normally getting, but as soon as you have to change the battery or turn the drone off, your back to CE mode again so you have to use the RN1 RC to patch it again then your up and in FCC mode again, pain really but ok if you have a spare N1 RC.

very handy to know mate, thanks. looks like you have to pay for it now but 15 quid is cheap. a bit of hassle every time you want to fly but i'm getting 550 meter max on the pathetic ce 100mw power out put so will try this soon

Morning. Mine works in fcc mode all the time, doesn't matter if I switch it on and off do that cable swap etc, No more cable swap on start up.

@Bashy is this the same as the Drone tweaks app . I see on yours the 1km moves above the white line but stays on the 90db not above it ? ie at around 86/87db as described in the Drone tweaks demo

This patch also works on the Mavic 3 .After attempting to do the permanent paid ffc hack to my rc pro i ended uip with a pc full of malware , Trojans ect what a nightmare im so lucky i never got as far as actually connecting my controller to my pc . I just read a comment below and the poster recons its not worth the hassle well its better then having to re formatt a pc !Update(4/11/2023) i got a replacement mavic 3 and the firmware is 01.00.1200 and this patch no longer works 😒

Hey you can downgrade the firmware using the DJI assistant software. I've downgraded both the drone and the controller with success but can't get the older version of the DJIFLY app working, but with the older DJIFLY app it should work.

Brilliant video buddy. Just paid for the drone tweaks app and it is spot on for increasing my range on my mini 2 especially over urban areas. However I now want it on my Samsung tablet but they want another £21. Your way seems like the way to go 😁. Does this affect the drones software buddy as in if I try it will the firmware be affected ?. subscribed 👌

muchas gracias from Spain its safer now, do you think when I switch over to litchi to fly VR with goggles it remains on? seems there after with fly app, no downgrading necessary with DJ Assistant then? Using it with my Air 2, well done! good video Id been using fake gps not sure if I got more range, I did loose connection once with this

Hey Bashy, thanks for sharing this hack. I have done it on my mini 2 RC-N1. I set it up on my Samsung S22. I'm pleasantly surprised that the hack sticks to the drone even after multiple shutdowns and restarts. I still get the -90db line below the 1km marker. Has anyone else experienced the same? Aircraft and RC both running the latest firmware.

Hello Martin; Did try the FCC- patch today (27.4.2023). Mini3Pro with the latest firmware (drone+RC-n1 & Dji RC). The range was not exceeded and the 1km mark did only «move a tiny bit». Any suggestions why I did not succeed? (..did fly 1km before the patch was installed, after installation we did approx 1,2km..)

So, just to clarify, if you have an android phone or tablet, you just need to download the hack to your phone or tablet? I dont need a PC? Directly to my android device?

You have just to (download), copy and install that app in your preferred Android device, used to pilot the drone, or not used to pilot, no matter. No PC is involved to swith on the FCC mode for the drone. You can also use the couple [RC N1 RC231]-[Android device] just as a starter, i.e. to switch to the FCC mode (comunicated to the drone) and after that, power OFF the RC N1, leaving the drone ON, and switch ON an RC Pro RM510, or an RC RM330 (the gray one with monitor), do a quick bind and then fly the drone with one of these RC alternatives... firmware permitting, of course. After this app patch, which is only temporary, DO NOT turn OFF the drone or you will need to re-patch to have FCC again. Easier to do than to describe, and better than nothing.

Its a lot more power for FCC mode over CE mode, especially for the 5.8ghz frequency
