As Covid travel restrictions are being lifted in certain parts of he world, I'm sure he'll be back. Just got word he's doing a joint seminar with Tuhon Jared Wihongi in Brazil next year 2023.

I've been analyzing how to check on full swings. Checking on the offensive is a great idea to slow down opponent's hands.

From how we learned it, you have to do it before the person gains full momentum on the swing. From there, you can either entangle, counter attack, deflect or redirect when needed.

It was interesting being on the receiving end of this. Literally I couldn't move when Tuhon Ray got me in the lever to lasso lock.
