First Video* Responding to Ladder 101's quarters for relocation. 101 was the FAST Truck to a job. 109 is a brand new 2017 Ferrara Ladder Rearmount. One of many that will replace FDNY's 2005 era seagrave rearmount ladders. Notice the new style of light bars!

Very nice ladder😊 but how can it take almost 2.30 min from call to they drive away. Here in sweden they must leave station in 90 sec from alarm call

I would assume that they are RELOCATING to another FIRE STATION some distance away in order to back fill for the a unit is operating (at the fire announced @0:18 "All Hands operating at Box 538....") In other words, this fire company is NOT responding to a fire call.

They weren't going to a fire. They were relocating to another station. It's all in the description that you probably didn't read.

There isn't. It's a relocate. They are relocating to another station to cover calls in another area.

Take your time why don't you! The video starts and 2 minutes and 9 seconds later, the truck finally starts rolling. How much can a fire spread in even a minute? You all had better hope if it's ever at your own residence, the firefighters in your area don't drag their asses like you just did!

If you read the description you'd know they weren't responding to a fire. They were relocating to another companies station while they are at the fire.

I am a Paramedic and have worked in fire departments before as a fire/medic...why does it take this truck over 2 minutes to get responding on a confirmed fire? From the radio traffic it was an all hands working fire, 2 minutes...thats just BAD. No where can anyone defend that level of a response time. I respect the FDNY, but damn where I was from we would have been in a chief's office and an officer would be loosing their promotion.
