New York City Fire Department - FDNY Storage lot that has many different Engines and Ladders in it. Some are being delivered, waiting for service, being scraped, or being retired.
Engine 153 old rig which was just replaced by the first 2014 KME Engine was in here. Along with the old Engine 54 that was also just replaced with a brand new 2014 Seagrave.

Thank you for the post. FDNY is the greatest fire department in the world. I live in PA, and there is no other FD that can come close to NY. Will look for more vids.

Fdny got very good yard for keeping there own fleet of trucks running and part out for another rig as well because there FDNY budgets can always always allow new rigs for some other departments to have but other commitments are on the waiting list for new rigs

the ones being "Scapped" should be sold to the public, lots of people would buy them and the F.D.N.Y would make a few nice bucks,,,

+Acepilot2k7 you and your friend should invest in a drone for some of these outdoor shoots. keep it in line of sight so you can maintain control. you could really prowl outdoor lots like this just stay low enough to avoid trouble.

Quick question,....and hopefully you can answer this. Some of these units look pretty good and may be in good working condition. Do you know if they sell these units at little or no cost to volunteer fire departments in need of good equipment?

samanli2014, I have a friend who's a Battalion Chief for Los Angeles City Fire Department. He told me that depending how busy the Engine Company is, that the average Fire Engine lasts between 10 to 15 years.

I like to buy a fdny fire truck and fix it up for 911 and give rides at suffeild fire house in ohio or even take it to the paramedic show drug box tramma box oxegen backboard and hose and deckgun
