Man I can't express enough how much we need a reprint of these hardcovers.

My best friend put me on to this book years ago. We're both huge remender fans. Karim overdosed and passed away 2 weeks ago. This book will always be special to me. Rip brother.

Rick Remender became one of my favorite writers when he started Fear Agent, Strange Girl and Sea of Red around 15 years ago. I buy anything he writes. Tony Moore and Jerome Opena also became some of my favorite artists thanks to Fear Agent. It was also the first book that I read that had rotating artists by story arc and it has become the standard now in days.

Does anyone remember way back when Fear Agent first came out that they recalled issue 2 because it was printed on the wrong paper? I worked in a shop back then and actually kept one of the issues that was supposed to be recalled and also swiped the letter sent by Diamond with instructions on how to destroy/return the copies. I have a feeling this is a very rare recalled comic, but nobody seems to know anything about it, even in recall sites. I still have the issue and the Diamond letter, so it's definitely a thing that happened. Any thoughts from Gem or the fans?

Just finished it last week and thought it was amazing. My Library Editions were not as solidly constructed as I had hoped but the story and art were fantastic. Should have read this much earlier. Thanks for the review!

It gets a bit convoluted in the second book but it’s pretty good. The extras can be up and down. Overall, a pretty good book. And the quality of those DH sets is amazing.

Ah, consider me jealous!! Bought Library Edition One quite some time ago, passed on Volume Two. Now it's really hard to find, or expensive. (lesson learned)

The titles of the books are hardcore punk song titles ie Bad Brains. Black Flag and Minor Threat

I just bought both volumes 1 and 2 of Fear Agent from someone off of Mercari for $80.00.. Both look practically new, however, it looks as if the pages have pulled away from the stitched binding.. I also have this same problem with a copy of The Complete Fire And Stone Prometheus library edition HC that I bought from someone on there as well.. Again, that book looks as if it has never been read, except for the binding issue.. Is this a common problem with old Dark Horse oversize hardcovers? Or am I just really unlucky?

The HCs are really expensive, but the final editions are not so bad. The art style looks really nice, so i might pick up the first volume. Great vid, Gem!

I will never understand someone looking at a book / graphic novel and feeling intimidated by its size, if its good you want more of it period, if its bad you don't have to finish it. I get it from a physical mental aspect but for anyone who reads even casually I do not.
