En Garde needs to be an S tier cause it can trivialise every single fight in the game except for the boss batles(if you get timing right, you can press shift before boss battle and it will work), so you won't risk losing limbs or something AND it gives you small speed boost so backtracking will last less. Also it gives you free turn to set up Fast Attack.

I call the infinite food and mind exploit the jesus mode, since you make wine out of water, multiply the breads and also is the place where you can walk on water, there are truly no coincidences

Reasons why the Phase Step is the best skill in-game: -you can skip multiple doors including the penance armor one -allows you to safely skip all instant kill traps on level 9 the body of the god of the depts aka amazing if you are having fps problems with the game like how most new players are having -saves a run if your character gets stuck on the multiple glitched ''fake walls'' the game has -allows you to IGNORE walk on water the most useless skill(damn thing makes you CONSTANTLY have to press more buttons to refill your water/while bottles, not horrible but extremely annoying for a skill that was gonna be used ONCE) -can be used to do some sick speedruns -you can collect a bunch of not accessible treasures in Ma'habre for runs you didn't got the passages of Ma'habre -you can collect the Blue Sin the best sword in the game for free(at the cost of never returning to the second part of the mines aka a place with very small amounts of loot, and that such loot can be all acquired before doing this anyway) -you can collect the miasma another good sword by just ignoring the door, aka getting an op item in the first minutes of the game lol(give to a skeleton or Le'guard) -instantly get combustion and the op loot from 2 lizard man as soon as you enter the mines -you can get the infamous not reachable soul stone that is located bellow the king -will add more stuff here once I remenber lol

Counter is actually pretty decent. Iirc it lasts the entire match when cast, and iirc against certain attacks that hit multiple times you also counter multiple times. Love the video btw!

The best weapons/characters/armors/trinckets combo IMO for the game is: -MC Mercenary: Sergal Spear, Iron mask, Plate armor or penance armor set with crow mauler soul when you kill Isahia and use steal you will get a fast attack(double attack) scroll for MC. -Moonless: make her pee 20 times, the game has like 30 locations so super easy to do it, also she never pees in Ma'habre for some reason they are all in the dungeon, you will have a character that applies bleeding and stunning all the time and of course, she can eat all rotten food in-game with no problems plus always double attack, teach her black orb and you got a character that uses 2 black orbs all the time, completely insane for bosses. I would have thought Mastery Over Insects would have been A tier for giving you infinite blue vials. Sure you can achieve the same effect via loving whispers+infinite wine vials, but that also locks up your main character, and requires 2 combat actions to do.

En garde should definitely be S -tier just because how powerful it is outside of bosses. Especially since it lets you kill enemies like moonless guard without taking damage.

A good habit to get into Devour. For map interactions hold your interact key, not only does it let you roll through text you don't want to or have already read, but holding it means you won't accidentally tap it when a menu pops up at the end of text Bare in mind that context menus "pause time" until you choose an option. Saved a few runs with Ragnvaldr when i planned on going through the torture room to get to Grif- i mean... Le'garde.

Talk is S tier because it gives you access to a good puppy

I suspect the intent with the counter magic yellow mage was that they would use hurting on themselves, but because miro couldn't get it working, it's now canon that hurting cannot be countered.

I agree with most of these, but I can't believe he put Blood Sacrifice so low. It was my go to skill in all my S ending runs if I found a single empty scroll. You want as many soul stones as you can for other skills or weapon enchants, and this one ability basically gives you the whole Grogoroth tree for free. Necromancy is incredible, Blood Golem a life saver and Black Orb a great damage dealer, and you can have them all for a negligible hp cost, allowing you to spend your soul stones and ritual circle prayers on Allmer and Sylvian sooner. Definite S tier for me.

Necromancy is even better if you upgrade it to Greater Necromancy Love it when using Enki

Marksmanship should be the last A tier because it let's you do incredible things without rng. If you kill the dark priest, take a soul stone, learn it, then you are set up for Ragna S ending. You can kill the Black Witch without having even arm guards or the salmonsnake. Then you can get the better equipment and defeat everyone easyyy thanks to Marksmanship

Hey Frapollo! Love the content and the direction you've taken the channel :). I Honestly might put En Guard in S tier, because when paired with Escape Plan you can literally cheese every non-boss enemy (en guard -> attack on free turn -> escape at start of first real turn). This allows you to essentially do everything non-boss related with no risk at all - but its kind of a lame way to play the game.

Bloodlust in termina is actually ACTUALLY fun to use 🙏with a very fun build consisting of Double Longinus/Blood sword(+40% attack) + Bloodlust(+50% attack) and you can add adrenaline rush(+30% attack by turn 4 but you can reduce it to 3) on top of that for more damage and if you truly wanna go all out use heroin(+30% attack) too, A lot of people sleep on the best weapon in the game ;( double longinus 🙏

Quick question, is Combustion's backfire bugged to not blow up your limbs or is it only arms or something? I rarely used on my main character because of that. Usually I give it to moonless or to the girl

Mastery over insect allows you to not take damage in lv8 or lv9. One insect in present mahabre will also give you infinite blue vial, combine them with achemillia vol3 and late game you will have infinite healing vial that cost nothing and heals for 80. Also, Loving whisper cost 120 mind to heal everyone for 80 while Healing whisper heal cost 90 mind to heal everyone for 90 so it is more cost efficient outside of battle.

8:14 actually works on elite guard, just for some reason the elite guard near to the Le'garde cell is bugged He is also inmune to bear trap and if you cut any limb of him, will get them back if you escape Edit: actually elite guards are bugged a lot, but still you can kill them sometimes with marksmanship

Counter magic on the yellow mage is not a bug, is actually a mechanic. Before it casts hurting, he says: "you can try to wiggle, but your destiny remains the same!" So it basically ignores your counter magic as it only negates lesser spells

Pheremones is great but only when you have party members or blood golem, so I would drop it to A. Speaking of Blood Golem, on accesability rating, it's a 1 tier so even players who don't know this game inside and out can get it easily. Plus the best thing to use pheromones on. It should get the tier point pheremones lost.

I just thought about something. Is the Demon Kid Guts? I mean he's quite literally born from a corpse and one of the key things you acknowledge about him is that he looks like he would grow up to be a powerful warrior if he lives that long.

I might be incorrect here, but Pyromancy Trick has a much better chance at hitting the head, allowing a reasonable chance to kill Guards and some enemies (Night Lurches) immediately
