Late comment, but I like to think that unused Horse Monster could have spawned if the player decided to "beat the dead horse" at the Dungeon entrance, maybe not in regular Fear and Hunger difficulty but in Terror and Starvation or in Hard Mode. Just imagine the jumpscare you'd get from that 😂

One time i had this bug when i killed the last of 3 things u need to kill to get to the gauntlet and strangely some of the first level layouts were completely different with half of mods either respawned or spawned , and for that reason i thought that every time you kill the last heart the god of the depts changes layouts on some of the first levels to make the game more difficult, how disappointed i was when i realised that it was just a stupid bug and it didn’t happened again on my next runs

Why did ragnavaldr and enki turned into some nasty creatures (enki reminded me a marriage) and ragnavalrd had a flower desease ?

I feel like, assuming the insta-kill and death traps were kept, not having the coin flip mechanic would make instances where it appears to just be pure arbitrary RNG determined, a lot of people would not be praising the game. Thanks to the coin flip mechanic, you get some control over the odds and can increase the odds even more in your favor with Lucky Coins. It is still Russian Roulette; however, it prevents such instances from feeling like the game suddenly broke its own rules and punishes you. To play devil's advocate, in the first game, the implementation of the coin flip mechanic treads into excessive.

Coin Flipping was *the* mechanic that impressed me the most while playing Termina. Such a simple mechanic added SO much to the atmosphere of the game. It's such a potent ingredient to the Fear part of Fear and Hunger, I can't imagine what the game would be without it. My absolute favorite coinflip moment was when I first entered the Orphanage, and was walking down an empty hallway... and then BOOM. Heads or Tails prompt out of nowhere. There were no visible enemies around, and I felt so much panic instantly... no other game has prompted such a raw feeling with such a simple mechanic. A+ implementation.

Most people complaining about Fear and Hunger seem to either misunderstand it or can’t read. I used to be like that when I was like 14 (I’m 28 now) so I assume these people are also in their early teens

i dont think rng is a bad part in many games even in stuff like dota witch even is a competetive game is so much rng it just shows your ability to adept to unexpected situations

I know this vid has been out for a while, but I just found you and have been binging all your fear and hunger videos (even though I don't ever see me playing this game myself, I just love your content so much and I want to learn more about the game) and while the guides are extremely useful (and still extremely entertaining) I love this challenge type of video and especially for stream highlights as I can never really watch streams (and vods seem like a lot to tackle with how long they are) so highlights have become one of my favorite ways to watch a lot of content creators as I still get the funny parts as well as a post production talk over it that adds a ton! While I'm not sure if you've made more videos like this (I'm going oldest to newest lol), I hope I find more or you make more like it!
