The convo between QT and Will on how she wants big juicy veins so the doctors can find them easier to draw blood is so fucking funny.
@potatoesstarch2376
@potatoesstarch2376 6 ай бұрын
I understand this as a person who spent a long time perpetually anemic and dehydrated. If you got little veins they have PROBLEMS. Once I was sitting in a chair getting stabbed by some relatively new hire for literally 30 minutes. I don't mind needles or getting blood drawn, especially by that point in my life as I had become very used to it, but I lost count after 12. It had to have been like, 20-30 attempts by the time she gave up and called in someone else. That was the worst, but even then it'd often take several tries, the vein would often collapse, I'd always have a massive bruise left over, and they'd last forever. One bruise I had lasted from the start of my health issues to months after my first surgery. Literally 3 years. Then it cleared up like nothing ever happened. I had to look like some sort of addict, just bruises all over my hands and up and down my arm from all the sticks. Which, I had an unusual amount cause I'd get regular IV medicine and iron supplements. So yeah. I'dve loved big fat fucking pumpers in my arms.

@@potatoesstarch2376Saaame. I have tiny veins. I only have one that’s even worth trying to stick, and if it doesn’t want to cooperate I’m cooked. BUT I will say, that ER phlebotomists are the gold standard. My ER visit was the quickest and most painless iv placement I’ve ever had. And when I told the nurse that he gloated like “yeah, we get that all the time. ER nurses can put an IV line in our sleep without the patient feeling a thing.” He practically moonwalked out of the room he was so cocky. But he was right. He was the GOAT.

QT is so right. I literally always need QT here for a voice of reason. Not splitting rent is actually crazy, the girlies need to be on the lease, on the mortgage, and contributing with whatever deal is discussed and agreed to. @Maria_745

You can be on the lease/deed and not be the one actually paying. I agree with QT that it feels weird but I also see what the guys are saying that if they're making more money and gonna live there either way it takes a financial burden off of the partner. Especially in a straight relationship when women typically make less money even in the same exact job

very interesting to hear them talk about splitting rent with them having talked about growing up rich or poor in a past episode. Will and Hasan don't mind someone not paying rent, but to QT its unheard of to not split rent. I think it does have to do with seeing money differently during childhood

I also feel uncomfortable not splitting the rent with someone equally... buuuut I've also never dated anyone rich, and I think that's what really changes things. When you're on an equal playing field in finance, it makes sense, but otherwise, no. Also, QT said the girlies might not side with her bc they have crushes on the guys but the bi's have crushes on the entire cast

I feel this so much! Like I personally feel weird not "contributing my fair share" bills. But also I felt really bad for Qt when she said she may have to reduce her therapy because it's too expensive... Like that sucks so much as is, but also knowing how much money Lud makes its like... idk I feel like 4 years is definitely long enough to start helping your partner with medical stuff right?...
@Valkyrie__Phoenix

@@unculturedsoup Oh for sure, it's super complicated because I know I'm the same type, BUT I also if I was the one making more money I'd definitely want to pitch in for my significant other, especially because I've been in places where I couldn't afford any mental health and had to cut back. It's really all just from being poor and not wanting hand outs, or to be a burden, and owe someone back. People don't really realize the trauma from not having enough money and it takes a long time to get over it even if you're out of the situation :/

everything about the Japanese Airlines crash was wrong. The plane that burned collided with Coast Guard aircraft. And the alaska flight that had the door fly off was an mid aft exit door. Which was a plug due to the fact that they don't need extra exit doors to be used due to the passenger capacity.
