I found this info about it on Google to be more specific: “The most famous quip attributed to Greta Garbo is short and sardonic: “I want to be alone.” But the actress, who made a practice of shunning reporters, premieres and fan mail, claimed that she had been misquoted. “I never said, 'I want to be alone,'” she explained, according to a 1955 piece in LIFE magazine.”

Its so funny, she pays for this potion and is given a warning after taking it. And she is just walking out like oh now im gonna get younger i guess. Not sure if she stops because she feel differently or she just didnt want to get scammed, because when she gets to the mirror she is clearly not happy she isnt younger already

Nobody is talking about this so I need to say it. That face shot in the mirror when the potion kicks in is masterful. The little bell jingle. The subtle use of shadow and perhaps I think they fused two shots together as well to make her face suddenly appear made up.

@@yalitzaotero2765 the original idea was to suggest the witch was Cleopatra...but they decided that was stretching disbelief too far and Mannequin 1&2 had already done something like that. The potion was revealed in a small casket with an Egyptian ankh (looped cross of eternal life and cheating death) which seems an obvious symbol for this movie. Most likely all the decorations and jewelry was imagined Egyptian.
