Wow, the lady who played as the snow queen in Narnia is cool in this movie but this confuse me, why the zombies don't bleed with blood but bleed only black dust? That's weird but I guess they wanna do something new.

I think it's in refrence to older zombie movies, where they weren't allowed to show too much blood so they opted to use dust and explain it as them being in the ground for so long

I heard in a Jim Jarmusch's interview (the director of the film) that the zombies only had dust inside their bodies because they were affected by Polar Fracking (the thing that is mentioned several times in the film), which absorbed the water from their bodies. So they ended up as empty corpses, dried and dusted. It is a very strange but great detail.

@@mikxter1363 Shaun of the dead was a zomcom too but it was actually good, this movie had all this star power and sucked balls. It's as if the people who made this film black mailed the stars into doing it due to having secrets on them or were holding members of their family hostage until they got done filming. Some of the veterans like bill Murray and Danny Glover were phoning it in and weren't even really acting. Heck, in zombie land Bill Murray was at least putting in effort, here it seems like he was reading his lines while sitting on the toilet.
