Continuing my series of interviews with motorhome industry executives, I had the opportunity to sit down with Jimmy Adams, President of Featherlite Coaches at the 2019 Prevost Motorhome Expo in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Like my other on-camera industry interviews, no topics were out of bounds and no notes or scripts were used. This is simply an on the record conversation related to the company, design philosophy and what his company does do to separate their products from others.

I’ve known Jimmy since the late ‘90’s when he was racing. I was a sales rep for MCI. They first used MCI chassis’s with other conversions. This is a Top Tier company and individuals.

Thank You. More times than not, I need to jump in to keep the interview from becoming a commercial. I didn't feel the need to intervene in this interview. Others, yes, or they would have become nothing more than an advertisement for their company.

Agree @hector! Letting the interviewee answer questions and share their unique insights is much more enjoyable to watch. You had a much better balance in this episode. 👍

I agree with you Jimmy. You guys have a 2008 Amadas coach on your website right now, and the interior of that coach doesn't look like any of the competitors. Additionally, your newer coaches all seem to have those very clean lines. Most Newell's have custom interiors built to customer specific specifications because "That's what they do". Feahterlite is Featherlite, Liberty is Liberty, Marathon is Marathon etc etc....

I know that Newmar isn’t a bus converter but the family that owns them, which includes the president, uses their motorhomes many times a year.

They are about 30 miles from where I live. I would love to take a tour of there facilities but I don't think that they do tours.

The Gadget Guru I’ve got a Thor diesel pusher. I wish I could afford a prevost and I now know which one I would buy lol I sure can dream. Good job on the videos really good information 👍🏼
