@@Rob9mm When you enter a name it *might* be possible to add a space, such as for a last name, by pressing the zero key. I'm not guaranteeing this for your phone, but it works on my AT&T cordless phone

I bought a similar model only it’s a DL series. Like yours, If I setup the call screening feature the caller has to say there name then I decide to take the call reject it or have the phone take a message. What happens if I’m not around to screen the call?

I have one landline, but I only have 3 phones that can be connected. If I purchase a 4 handset cordless, do I have to use all 4 phones or can I just use 3?

My BL102-4 phones say "no Line". I have all of the phones plugged in. What is the problem? Thank you.

I have an AT&T DLP72412 system w/four phones and can’t get it out of Quiet Mode. Have pressed the Quiet # numerous times, added an hour, took out that hour. It still doesn’t ring. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I have this phone but I cannot find a way to extend the number of times the phone rings. Currently it is set at 3 rings before going to the answering machine. With the phone being a good 20 steps away at all times it is hard to always pick up the phone before it goes to the answering machine. Anyone know how to make the phone ring more times? It's a bit frustrating having to run to the phone all the time and only succeed half the time.

The Big Round Button (Volume) on the phone has a up and down arrow. These arrows should move the cursor without deleting. Press the up arrow to move the cursor to the right and press the down arrow to move the cursor to the left.

The answering machine is on but only records on handset, where I have to put in phone # and password. Is this defective or is there a way of changing that? Also I had date and time and now it is gone? Defective?

Does this phone use the AT&T signal like my cell phone or does one have to tether it like a land-line?

@@VentanaMedia Is that tethering for powering the answering machine or both the phone & answering? I am looking for a home like phone with answering machine ability but it has to use a cell signal because my home is an RV and I change locations often. If you can recommend, I’d appreciate it.

Thank you. Found it after reading the instruction sheet. Still taking it back cannot get anything to work the way it is supposed to. Very confusing.

the remote phones have stopped being connceted to the main phone. How do I restore the remote phone connections?

If the handset is not responding normally, you may need to reset your telephone system. Complete the following steps to reset the telephone system: Step 1: Disconnect the power to the telephone base. Step 2: Disconnect the handset battery. Step 3: Wait a few minutes and then reconnect the power to the telephone base. Step 4: Reconnect the handset battery Step 5: Wait about one minute for the handset to re-establish a link with the telephone base and then test the phone again.

well LOL it the presentation was detailed and you voice is well spoken ... and the one damn thing that this phone is marketed to is hearing impaired - the red call in light and audio assist .. and you didn't say a thing about the increase ability for volume ... it was really good ... LOl and worthless for ME

I have this phone and the voice is completely unintelligible. It sounds like it's had several strokes and unless I go and read the caller ID the announcement is utterly useless

I wish he described how to increase the ringer volume so I can tell my mom as I live across country from her and she can't hear the phone ring on the other handsets so this video isn't helpful. It just says what the features are but not how to actually do it. Crap.

The steps to increase the ringer volume are not easy. but here they are: To increase the ringer volume: When the phone is not in use, press the MENU/SELECT button on the handset. Press the ▲DIR or ▼CID button to display Ringers, then press the MENU/SELECT button. Press the ▲DIR or ▼CID button to highlight Ringer Volume, then press the MENU/SELECT button. Press the ▲DIR or ▼CID button to increase the volume, then press the MENU/SELECT button to save. You can also increase the ringer volume while the phone is ringing by pressing the ▲DIR/VOLUME button. Please note that the ringer volume is independent for the handset and base station. To increase the ringer volume for the base station, follow the steps above, but press the VOL ▲ button on the base station instead of the ▲DIR/VOLUME button on the handset.
