Id love to get one eventually BUT they are exspensive with a lot of upkeep so I'm gonna wait till I'm more finacially stable. I have a tiger salamander but he is one of the easiest and affordable critters ive ever had!

Where I live we have pet shops we got our axolotls from there and the pet shop was basically a breeder they told the people who get the axolotls how to care for them the reason of this I think is that the owner of the shop used to work at the breeder somewhere

Hey, my axolotl began to throw up their food. It’s coated in a weird grey substance. They keep trying to eat it over and over but even if they get the whole thing in their mouth they’ll spit it back out. Some of it looks like it’s been digested a bit but she appears to have thrown it up. I’m concerned for her safety. Has this ever happened to you? She’s really young. Only about four inches she also appears to be swallowing repeatedly
