February Currently Inked Pens Ranking | Final Thoughts

3 ай бұрынI review my experiences with the inked pens from February. As usual, these are the 3 categories I will be grading my experiences moving forward:
1) Ranking:1 being my favorite and most used for the month
2) Flow: I grade flow on a scale from -5 to +5, with -5 being a VERY DRY flow combo and +5 being a VERY WET flow combo. 0 is Average Flow. Watch my video on Dry vs Wet Inks for more in-depth discussion on this scale! • WET vs DRY INKS | In-D...
3) Comfort: Typically the grades I give are 6-10 (with 6 being uncomfortable to 10 being most comfortable for long writing sessions). I don't choose pens that are super uncomfortable for me, so I will not be able to give you the most accurate or objective review here as comfort level of a pen can vary for each person.

I 100% agree with your thoughts on the TWSBI Diamond, Lamy LX + RO Rose Gold Antigua, etc! I might be on the hunt for that Sailor after watching this video! 😅

Pilot...try Pilot or Pelikan. Won't regreat. If you like stiff ,dryish nib go Sailor specialy small nib size EF, F but if you want a bit bounce, great flow go Pilot and if you like piston fillers, bouncy nib and good flow go Pelikan.

Hey Krystal, thank you for your comment and watching! Yes twsbi diamonds are no longer getting anymore of my money lol! Not exactly my aesthetic (since they are silver and full demonstrators) and the piston knob is too finicky sometimes to have to take apart. As for the Sailor pen, you can contact my lovely friend Yumiko at goodpenlife on Instagram! She can help hook you up with this gorgeous pink Sailor. Or you can wait until it restocks to get it slightly cheaper than the current market rate for this sailor.

@@nicksg3002 lol indeed! Pelikans are so wet and juicy and even the m600 nib feels slightly bouncy. My custom 823 pilot isn’t that bouncy though it’s pretty stiff. It doesn’t make much line variations but it is indeed also fairly wet, especially the medium sizes.

Kaweco Lilac for the win, aesthetics division. I hope to get a Sailor and a Franklin-Christoph in a similar color.

Yes!! That one is so nice! The closest Sailor to the Kaweco lilac color is winter rain, so I would be happy with a new Sailor in this Kaweco color.

Casey did such a beautiful job on this Persian Princess. It's a beauty. I don't really like the Medium Cypress nib, though, the tipping is very thick xD I might need to buy a jowo feed/nib unit to replace it and get an even better writing experience out of this beauty.
