This is my personal favorite video from Serbia. I started my journey from Kruševac made my way to Jastrebac mountain, stopping for a sip of spring water. I then continued my journey to Kopaonik Mountain. Before reaching my final destination, I encountered unexpected interactions with a priest who fed me and a man on the street to whom I gave a lift to. The heat from the direct sun exhausted me so I decided to make a stop in Brus town before staying in a Ribari village. In 2013, I started my solo travel journey, leaving Indonesia in 2016 to become a full-time traveler and KZfaq creator. My background in International Relations has fueled a profound interest in exploring different countries. My content focuses on exploring different cultures through the lens of a solo female traveler, aiming to capture real-life interactions and experiences.
My travels kicked off with a five-month trip across Asia, after which I moved to China in January 2017 to work as an English teacher-my first time living abroad. I left China in 2018 to fully commit to creating videos on KZfaq, where I share my travels and the cultures I encounter.

Our monks are like that. Hospitality is the first thing when you visit them and usually Serbian people. You will be fed and we will help ypu the best way we can. Everybody is welcome

Wow...Maybe because I'm Serbian, but these video gave me goosebumps. Where to start? Firstly, that much audacity and courage for a female plus a foreign nationality one ...Single girl on a scooter having a country ride in the middle of nowhere. Have to love your adventure spirit. As an ortodox christian I'm so proud of priest Damaskin for opening the church for you, and serving you with some refreshments and snacks. He really set an example of how our tradition and religion teaches us to treat guests/travelers. In ancient times our ancestor bealived that their forefather's souls will pay them a visit from time to time disguised as a travelers, uninvited guests, beggars. For a purpose that they can put to a test their hospitality. The way they were wellcomed or not will be attributed to the whole of their family in their afterlife. Therefore a guest/traveler allways had a important status in everyday life of people in Serbia. King regards and stay safe...

When he gave you honey and water, it's old tradition, when you enter someone's home, they will usually give you water and honey (or "slatko" which is similar to honey but made out of fruits), and it's suppose to be symbolic idea that you will feel nice and welcome in their house and that they offer you their protection under their roof because you shared a meal.

This is the 1st time ever that I've seen an astonishingly magnificent Serbia. The cathedral, the scenes & the people are so nice. A Serbia that CNN, BBC & the likes showed me was always went with Bosnia & Croatia that was so ... never minded. Thanks for showing me this beautiful country & people, especially their treat to an Indonesian lady. You're so brave to travel alone like this, given the recent discrimination against Asians in ... you know where, during the Covid-19

As someone who lives in this country, I can say that Serbia is something special. Nature, history, localities, cities, villages and above all people who will host you as their own native and receive you in their home, offer food and drink simply that is the mentality of the people, with their sincere smile and desire will always help the traveler, so many foreigners and fall in love and experience Serbia in a special way.♥️

Government is really bad and destructive to our own economy as well as pollution... the tranquility is very close to costing us this precious healthy land with the likes of Rio Tinto moving in with the help of our sell out government. The mentality is to be admired to an extent but long ways from perfect.

I am not from Serbia, I am from Bosnia ... There are many beautiful cities in Serbia, such as Belgrade, Krusevac ... and one equally beautiful city is Novi Pazar as well.
