Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell delivers remarks following the Federal Reserve's two-day policy meeting on Wednesday.
The Federal Reserve on Wednesday kept its key interest rate unchanged and signaled that just one cut is expected before the end of the year.
With markets hoping for a more accommodative central bank, Federal Open Market Committee policymakers following their two-day meeting took two rate reductions off the table from the three indicated in March. The committee also signaled that it believes the long-run interest rate is higher than previously indicated.

Interest rate cut and geopolitical uncertainty intensified a seII off in Big Tech Mkt darling Nvidia(NVDA)lost 10%, while Amazon(AMZN)saw a drop of more than 2%. Apple(AAPL)decreased 1%. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850K

Interesting how over 2% inflation has been a concern when central banks and the Fed begin to hike interest rates. I consider the rising interest rate to be a very serious issue since it will undoubtedly cause more investors to withdraw their money from the stock market. But then I'm still aware of certain investors that continue to earn over $365K. Wish I could accomplish that.

Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others, as an investor, you should’ve known that by now, nothing beats experience and that’s final, personally I had to reach out to a market analyst for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to a million, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I’m buying again.

That's correct. At first, I wasn't too pleased with my gains compared to my previous performances, I was doing so poorly, I thought I needed to diversify into better assets, so I got in touch with an investment-advisor. That same year, I pulled a net gain of 550k, which is about 10 times more than I average on.

@@user-tm2tr8io2tdepends on the cost. For lower cost items that is true, but for housing and transportation costs they have a more substantial effect. The true market effect of increases is not what they monitor or report. If that increases at a reported value of 5% and wage increases baseline at 2 to 3%. You have a huge problem. The real cost increase is much higher than what is reported but the wage increases are usually around that value. So housing or transportation costs become unaffordable and there is nothing that can solve that problem. The fed might not be the best solution path, it may be housing policy. In my opinion we need much less residential housing that is being used an investment. That would help flood the market, reduce cost of housing, and help significantly with supply issues.

Hats off to the US economy, with 204 thousand million USD added in circulation this year....and taking in account a portion of the inflation is not cost, but profit driven....they keep it real low. Still though some banks are starting to collapse, and we know this always triggers a snowball effect....so by the time Jerome cuts rates, the saying will popup again '''Fed is always last to know'''. 93 y/o Warren said in an interview that a leader who waits for all the needed information, will be too late and cause a disaster. Maybe Powell should call Warren next time he starts trying to figur out what to do. Just an idea...🙃

High-Interest Debt: If you have high-interest debt, such as credit card debt, it is generally wise to prioritize paying it down as soon as possible. High interest rates mean that the cost of carrying this debt is significant, and paying it off can provide immediate financial relief and savings. High interest rates will be a problem for most people and businesses at this time it just simply means high borrowing cost !

They keep lying about unemployment numbers.
@neilhanks
@neilhanks 8 күн бұрын
There are multiple measures of unemployment. Also they recognize unemployment (UE) has been creeping up with it just hitting 4% and they are keeping an eye on this. Remember the standard was target under 5%. UE has been historically very very low. We get over 5% and inflation remains above 3% then we got a problem.

@@neilhanksThe problem is the measure. Job growth accounts for all jobs not full time employment. Part time labor is significantly increasing and full time employment is significantly decreasing. These two things are not the same. Unemployment should account for only those fully employed. I.e work collectively more than 40 hours or # over baseline salary.
@momomama2510
@momomama2510 8 күн бұрын
@@neilhanks are you serious? You really believe we’re at 4% unemployment? 1- 248000 jobs created were 40k government jobs and MOST of the rest were min wage jobs that a LOT of those illegal immigrants took. If you work in corporate America. You should know what’s going on. Rounds and rounds and rounds of layoffs. By the thousands. CPI numbers and unemployment numbers are a joke. Keep believing that nonsense . I was talking about middle class white collar jobs. I can guarantee you that 2 if not 3 out of 10 lost their jobs in the last two years. Talk to a recruiter in tech for example and they’d tell you what’s going on.
