Ran into your grandpa sporting an AgriStudios hat at the Harbor Freight in Billings early January. Good to see the family is supporting your endeavors. Keep up the good work bringing agriculture to the masses. You ever want to hang out with the irrigated folks we are out on the Fairfield, MT bench.

Thanks! Grandpa was quite excited when he ran into somebody who recognized the hat!

Great job boys! I loved watching how you guys feed your cattle. We have a much smaller operation and I've never seen the equipment you use to move your round bales. Keep up the good work! (and put on a hat and gloves). :)

love watching farming from other side of the world , one question though, dont you guys have to take the net off the hay bales, we are beef farmers too but we have to remove our net, do you have a different net over there to us. Its a bit of a pain so keen to know if there is a simple way .

I have the same question. Hopefully they will reply.
@andrewmccarthy37774 жыл бұрын
@@bucmeister7713 Mmm no reply as of yet maybe it's old info or they got camera shy and just forgot to take net off.
@Farmer_Matt4 жыл бұрын
@@andrewmccarthy3777 We do have to remove the net wrap to unroll the bales with the pickup but we don't have to with the tractor. In the bale processor are two drums that tear apart the bale and feed it. Most of the net wrap gets Tangled in the drums and is removed after feeding. There are some fancier bale processors that cut the net wrap for you but they are expensive.

Do you have any problem in the very cold with the cows other than they need more food? Thank you for sharing your amazing story. God bless you and your family
@AgriStudios5 жыл бұрын
Thanks! As long as there is electricity to keep water thawed out and the shop heated for equipment to start up, there are no major issues other than additional time and resources needed for cold weather.

Do you have any videos that show how you deal with the mud?
@Farmer_Matt Жыл бұрын
In Montana we really don’t know what mud is 😂. That’s a foreign concept to us.

Is that Ford flatbed an IDI diesel?
@shaneslivka88135 жыл бұрын
Yes, 1993 IDI 7.3 F-250 converted to an F-350 by using a Dana 60 solid front axle.

Looks like the cows would eat that netting and cause problems or death 😳.
@Farmer_Matt Жыл бұрын
Not they don’t. And the processor usually doesn’t dispense the feed out. It just gets caught on the drums.
