Ashlyn and Tony, I realized something awhile back watching your guys videos, but this video particularly made it clear. I use to work at Kline’s Services (back before they sold it) I unloaded out at your farm before!! Probably met one of you guys then. I think I was in one of the hook trucks and un-loaded a can of something in one of those bays!! Small world and you guys are about 10 minutes away from me. Keep up the great work!!

Can never have enough tractors on a dairy.
@garyfuiten51262 жыл бұрын
I've said it before but you guys have so many beautiful tractors. When I was a small simple minded boy my Grandpa would yell, Gary, get the damn Tractor and hook it up to this or that, whatever. Fortunately, being the simple minded boy that I was, I didn't have to think long and always chose the right tractor. The only ONE on the Farm.

Hey there RDP boys, I hope you're all well and good! I couldn't tell from the video, but can you not back your mixer up and get the molasses? If you're gonna use that 8430 on the mixer regularly, those duals and weights are a tremendous amount of weight that you don't need to be dragging around and wearing out, lighten up man....😉 As the weather warms up, I would imagine the algae in your waterer's does to. I'm pretty sure that you can add some chlorine to help slow it down that's not harmful to the cows, we drink it in municipal water all of the time, but my experience with dairy cows is limited, but it might be something worth checking into. Today is March 11th. I hope y'all have a good one! "Nothing Runs Like A Deere" 🦌👍🇺🇸
@tonyrohrer35632 жыл бұрын
Yeah backing the mixer up would be an option although our scales readout is on the other side of the mixer. The 8430 will only be used on the mixer in emergency situations and for when we have the 6210R for mowing. If we would happen to use that tractor on there all the time we would definitely drop the weight and the duals

@@tonyrohrer3563 I was just supposing, definitely not criticizing in any way, you guys are there doing it, and I'm just watching, but I have had a lot of real world experience, just not much dairy. I am inquisitive, and I ask questions, but I hope you never take it as being critical. Thanks for your time! 🦌👍🇺🇸

Just one of those tractors would be nice to own. It is awesome that you have a selection like that. Very nice to have the best tractor for the specific jobs and needs. Are you the only backup substitute feed provider if the relative workers are gone?

Ash....Ash...Ash...when, if ever, are you going to get the "ladies" trained to leave your goPro alone, and to "mind" you better? I think that when you make their initial newborn apartment "beds" that you might need to start desensitizing them by placing old, disused, cell phones with them, just out of "reach" and "sniff" zone, so they understand it is nothing to be concerned with, just as we have grown accustomed to cameras on every street corner, and even... in deepest Keystone state farm/dairy country, from passing 💩wagons...lol... Thank ya'll for dairy farmin', feedin', fixin', and water trough brushin' and cleanin'📹!👍🚜👀👏

Is the cost of the brewers grain expensive?
@rohrerdairyproductions40802 жыл бұрын
I can't see it being cheap. But to be honest I don't really know. That's something I've never looked into. Good question though I'll try to remeber to give you an answer.

Being the "armchair dairy farmer" that I readily admit to...I do have just enough knowledge to the point of being "accused" in the past, many times, of being, variously, a doctor, lawyer, politician, news reporter, professor, smart a$$, or a country bumpkin...can't help my southern drawl, but am very well traveled, mostly in the 🇺🇸....and have always been highly observant and inquisitive...which brings me to the subject at hand , brewers/distillers grain...often referred to collectively as ddg(dry distillers grain) by certain high volume producers / end users and logistics companies...and with varying input varieties (i.e. grains/corn grown for fuel(ethanol) extensions vs. food production/derivatives...and varying end production moisture variables...all may affect the end user cost(s)....fwiw....
