Shockingly, fela sang this song way back 1980. Nigeria was so corrupt then, and is still as corrupt today. Very sad indeed
@gbolahanbada57874 жыл бұрын
It's even worse now. Wasn't it the EFCC chairman that was arrested for corrupt practices? Imagine the head of the body responsible for fighting corruption engaging in corrupt practices. Nigeria is just a big joke that isn't funny for we, the masses.
@JoData_xls3 жыл бұрын
You ridicule the corruption happening now when comparing with 1980. The corruption now, compared to 1980 is like comparing a SAN to a first degree law graduate.

Fela you are the best legend that will never be forgotten you exposed Africa and Nigerian government in particular.I hated our colonialist era but the problem is that the fools that the governance fell into their hands are worst than the colonial masters, and that's what you were fighting against till your last day rest in peace Baba.

Oh, Fela! but I think Nigeria really lost by the untimely death of Fela. Yes, he was more than funny, he was unique, an original performer. Actually, I became Fela's fan while he was still at Kakadu nightclub on Herbert Macauley Street in Yaba where I searched him out after he sang Jeun ko ku (Chop and Quench). By this time I was still in the boarding house in High School in Ibadan at this time (1969) at Mount Olivet High. So all this happened during the holiday in Lagos. I really miss Fela

@PeaceAndJustice357 He called himself Abami Eda because of seeing and telling it the way it is. Authority thief pass arm robbery because all they need to do their dirty job is pen. The irony of it is that it still exist today in Nigeria. There is enough money for all Nigerians to be comfortable but few people are looting the money while many suffers to make ends meet. It is very sad and nothing is been done to change the corruption. All wants to hv piece of the pie once they are elected.

It's not a topic of black or white people. As both race have good and bad people. It comes down to the spirit one possesses and what one believes and the action one takes will determine their character.
