Bulleta for me, the fact that she manages to be one of the most evil characters wearing the costume of the most iconic "Victim" in Fairytales in a game full of mythological Monsters is just amazing to me. She's the representation of what humans became in the Darkstalker universe, and I really like how you see that world building on one character.

I love the inversion of expectations that comes with her character design. Even beyond the basic conceit of "Little Red Riding Hood, but she keeps that uzi on her" being great on its own, the fact that she's far and away one of the most evil characters on a roster filled with literal monsters does a lot for her.

Same. Major props to the decision to make her inspired by Little Red Riding Hood, a vulnerable girl from fairytales, into the embodiment of humanity's darker side among a world of mythological monsters! Humans like BB Hood/Bulleta are the real beasts instead of the Darkstalkers, you know.

I always had Felicia as one of my main teams in MvC2 back in the day. She along with BB Hood are my favorite Darkstalkers characters.

I love Felicia, her and Morrigan in the Vs games actually made me really want to check out DarkStalkers as a series and I'm really glad I did! Also, YAY Project X Zone mention!

I appreciate the kind words! Between work, family stuff and my own downtime, I try to make sure I at least have a video out every 1-2 weeks. Might slow down as the holidays come, but I'll try and be consistent regardless.

To be honest, I will love to see more cat characters and or, cat themed characters and or dog characters and or dog themed characters. I also, want more people to do a spin dash attack, whether or not, it has something to do with animals.

So Felicia, never tried her out but I definitely want to at some point, definitely would be interesting to see what they could do with her in a possible Namco Vs Capcom or TVC2. (Because let's be honest, those are more likely than MVC4 at this point, which I don't think is a bad thing, NVC's practically my dream crossover game at this point and TVC rocks) Also 3:35 Oof, looks like Jin wasn't the only character who suffered from the widescreen transition, the things that happen to sprite-based games lol.

Huh, never knew MVC2 redesigned most of Felicia's helpers. I have no idea why'd they do that, I wonder if those redesigns are also in SVC: MOTM.

You should totally do Akuma someday. Dude is one of the biggest faces in fighting game history. He’s been in X-Men: children of the atom, Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter, Marvel vs Capcom 2, Marvel vs Capcom 3, Street Fighter x Tekken, SNK vs Capcom: Match of the Millennium, SNK vs Capcom: SVC Chaos, Capcom vs SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 and Capcom vs SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001 so you got a lot of options here

13:55 Alright, catching up on and been binging these, so I dunno if this has been answered before regarding Ruiner Felicia; It originates from the Mega Man Battle Network focused Card Pack "30_Minutes.EXE", where Shadaloo is attempting blow up Den City, so Lan & MegaMan.EXE team up with Ryu (who was sucked into CyberSpace) to fight both the bomb program that manifests as a giant Bison projection, and CyberAkuma.EXE. The Battle Chips they use are all other Capcom characters (stuff like Firebrand, Nina from Breath of Fire, Oichi from Sengoku Basara, the REVillage nightmare Baby, etc). After the fight and Shadaloo's defeat, Mr. Higsby comes back into town, selling the special "Ruiner Felicia" battle chip, which was added at the same time as a gacha skin for Nergigante. TL;DR Ruiner Felicia has no story, someone probably just thought it'd be cute/cool (and it is!). I'm very invested into Teppen's lore and flavor text since there's a shocking amount of continuity and detail put into it that I have never really seen anyone bring attention to. If I find the energy and time, I'd probably but the bullet myself and make videos about it.

Felicia is one of my favorite fighting game characters of all time, and she is one my most wanted characters I want to see in other crossover games outside of Capcom VS series, such as Super Smash Bros, Or KOF Allstars, Or Street Fighter 6

Another fun fact: Kae Akari also filled in for Usagi for the final three episodes of Season 1 of Sailor Moon and the first four episodes of Sailor Moon R cause the voice actress of Usagi was unavailable to record her lines.

Since I haven't seen anyone explain it, the Teppen thing is that Ruiner Felicia is a skin for Nergigante (one of the playable "Hero" characters in the game) and she has different animations for just about everything. I think EX skins even have their own music but I haven't checked EDIT: I checked and she does have a theme. Unsurprisingly, a remix of the one also used for MvC3 (side note: Phoenix Wright is also a skin in that game)

Still weird to me that Spider-Man doesn't have a Wall cling, but Felicia does. Maybe they thought it was annoying for Spidey.

Weird thing is, he had one on Marvel Super Heroes Vs. Street Fighter (and I believe Marvel Super Heroes as well, IIRC), but they removed it specifically in MvC1 onwards and just left him with a wall jump. They've given him other mobility tools since but never brought that specific one back, it's weird.

Rikuo was that character for me when I first played as a kid! Doing this video though, I have a bigger appreciation for Felicia now and might actually pick her up in Vampire Savior.
