I am a med student, and we recently studied sex ed. I noticed how we were taught in depth about the "male sexual act" which highlighted on performance and orgasm. Yes as a female i thought I was odd that I needed to feel an emotional connection to my partner in order to fully enjoy sex. I know some females don't need this however I myself can only orgasim if I feel loved by my partner. My ex mentally abused me and he wanted to have sex a lot (even if I didn't want to) so eventually it didn't even feel good anymore. It either hurt or it almost felt like nothing at all. My current partner however is so loving and cares so much about how I feel the same as he feels and sex with him is amazing. I get wet so much easier and after every time I feel so loved by him. I care about him so much.
