Female soldier of Ukraine’s elite 47th Brigade helps stop massive Russian attack on Avdiivka

Soldiers of Ukraine’s elite 47th Brigade revealed an intense day-long trench fight against a massive Russian armoured assault on the town of Avdiivka. First-person footage taken by a female soldiers shows her and her comrades holding off the Russian assault on their trenches, destroying at least half a dozen armoured vehicles and tanks in the process, and taking out dozens of Russians. Once the worst of the battle is over, they have to race to save the life of their brother-in-arms, jokingly nicknamed al-Qaeda, after he was hit by a grenade. Video shows how they had to drag him through the trenches to two Bradley IFVs which then take him off the battlefield and to hospital for treatment. Then, Ukraine’s own tanks move in to bombard the empty Russian vehicles setting them alight and ensuring they cannot be used again. Russia is trying to surround Avdiivka, a town in eastern Ukraine which has been on the frontline since 2014, but have so far been stopped in their tracks.

The English subtitles were appalling. The injured soldier was telling the commander (who also got wounded and was patched up by the female medic) to give him a rifle and leave him there. He was asking the squad to leave without him as he couldn’t move. The commander said, no! She (the medic) was also telling him to shut up, and giving orders. Total badass. When they got into the evacuation vehicle, the wounded guy said, the next time I tell you to leave me, do it! He felt he had put them all at risk. Anyway, the commander replied, the next time this happens, I will hit you in the head with my rifle butt, and knock you out so you stop talking. They were so close to the Russians, that they could hear each other talk. At one point (not shown in the video) you could hear the Russians shouting at the Ukrainians to surrender and give themselves up. Another intense moment occurred when a Russian tank was seen to almost roll over the trench (not shown here). Warriors, all of them. Heroyam Slava!

This one may prevent her from returning to the front although that’s where her heart is. Also is the any stronger love than that of from warrior to warrior? They didn't knew if there was anyone else attacking. Had to wait for extraction. You just don't run off random direction without extraction team. One was picking them up another making sure no one is alive or around to attack again. Team will be replaced by rested soldiers. Thats how trench war works.
