4 years later, the 2 Miss India on stage Lara & Celina went on to do a movie together No Entry in 2005 Similar thing happened the previous year in 2000, when Gul Panag crowned Lara and they both did a movie Jurm 4 years later in 2004 Besides also the fact that, 2000 winners Lara & Priyanka did a movie Andaz together while Priyanka & Dia did the movie Blackmail

ankitsalsa14 same thing also happened in 1994 when outgoing miss india namrata shirodkar crowned miss india sushmita sen and they went on to work on a movie together in 2000 called aaghaaz

@@arin7981 Who cares?After all she became the Miss India Universe 2001 and later became 4th runner up at Miss Universe pageant in Puerto Rico and was the 4th time India had a runner up from Miss Universe pageant after Namrata Shirodkar(Miss Universe 1993 5th Runner Up,Miss India Universe 1993 Winner,Miss Asia Pacific 1993 1st Runner up),Manpreet Brar(Miss India Universe 1995,Miss Universe 1995 1st Runner up),Madhushree Sapre(Miss Universe India 1992,Miss Universe 1992 2nd Runner up).Add Celina Jaitly(Miss India Universe 2001,Miss Universe 2001 4th Runner up),Adline Castelino(Miss Diva Universe 2020,Miss Universe 2020 3rd Runner Up) and India has 6 runner ups from Miss Universe pageant which ain't all that bad at all

This is a great example winners are always not winners and losers are always not loser. Trisha who was not even in top 10, ruling the South cinema for almost two decades. Namitha who was in top 5 who needed a translator back then did a handful of movies in south . The losers made it big than the winners.

While I understand what you're trying to say, the success of a candidate cannot be evaluated by their popularity in the media. In the history of beauty pageants, several contestants and winners have gone on to be successful in an array of professions - like, medicine, engineering, and scientific research which do not bag the limelight as the film industry does. So, let's just not dub it as an error on the jury's part to not have selected Trisha or Namita.

@@tussharsasi9747 I agree the first Miss world Reita Faria achieved in medicine and research. Now, after Aishwarya and Susmita, these pageants are just entry passes to film industry. Each and every candidate is successful in their own terms. It didn't stop any. It should be taken as positive outcome is what I tried to mention

I agree but why do you think she didn’t succeed think where you are then and now success doesn’t mean what you said trisha is not successful in this competition but successful as an actress and being a model doesn’t need to be an actress can do anything neither acting or any other thing trisha is good at acting so she became a great actress and the winner is good at middling and humour she won the title... stop your allegations see Aishwarya and Sushmita Sushmita is miss India and Aishwarya is 1st runner up Aishwarya is most successful than Sushmita as per an actress but Sushmita is most successful as a human and she made her dream come true Aishwarya dreamt for being an actress Susmita dreamt of having children and caring them they both succeed as per their own life Manushi chillar is miss world but she don’t have Interest on being an actress so she’s doing her medicine...

celina answer at miss universe 2001 top 5 was one of the worst...if Sarah wasinstead,she will definitely slay that answer....sarah was epitome of beauty,speaker,intelligent,high I.Q.......she may made history by making the back to back winning of miss universe......But she is not beautiful as Celina
