A lot of Parisians sure do jog though. My guess is about 20%. Coming at you and behind you all the time. Up and down the Montmartre steps too.

In Vietnam we have frogs as a normal dish and it's easy and cheap to buy frogs in our market. We have several ways to cook frogs (not only the legs, the whole body of the frogs can be served after going through preparation to remove all the harmful parts of the frog like organ and even skin if you cant stand eating that stuff) but get them fried with garlic and a pinch of salt is the best. Frogs are just so good to eat 🤷🏻‍♀️ it is fresh and tastes better than fish.

Why this is not popular!?!?!? You deserve moreeee. But i guess it’s good, because less people see this and less people will be on those places and they will not become tourist places

Here in the Philippines eating native frogs is also a norm in the rural villages. Anyway the fencing master is so charming :)

Et voila, un autre cliché mort! Great reportage Nessy. First introduced to French fencers, long before ever moved here. Drank the St Andrew's University bar dry with a French fencing team, with the Ulster Aviation Society, while staying there for the RAF Leuchars air show. First had frogs' legs for Christmas in 2011. I survived, and discovered the bones useful for picking your teeth afterwards. My wife did a more elaborate version in the four (oven), and surprised I survived them and escargots drowned in garlic butter. Some of the clichés about the French may seem true, but as you explain clearly, most are simply the point of view, and misunderstanding of the culture, by us "merde Anglos". Bon continuation biloute, from the chilly, windy, provincials, in the 59 bilout. A bientot.

I honestly didn't know that real Parisians were notarized with eating frog legs. I thought it was a Cajun thing in Louisiana.

This cliché is not accurate anymore haha. Maybe in the chic restaurant like the one you show us, but it's like snail, it's very rare to eat that in France x) But wine and bread are still accurate for frenchies :p
