Honesty this is the first vid I've seen that does this bass any justice.

My favorite bass reviewer. Not just because he's a monster player and a real likable down to earth guy, but because he covers all of the different possible sounds of an instrument. I'm never left wondering what a certain combination would sound like. Simple as it would seem, he's one of the very few to do this.

Fender should have hired Ed to head the marketing efforts for the Dimension series. We'd probably still have them today if so.

Thanks, Ed. I'm glad this video is on YT. I bought this guitar with this finish. It sounds just like this one you played. I also bought the 4 string for our Drop C tuning. I use Rotosound strings for that edgy sound and deep voice that they get. My only complaint is that the neck is a bit wide. I cut my chops on a Rickenbacker 4001 back in the day, and I am almost considering getting the Ric 5 String. But I think you've convinced me to stay with these.

Love the bottom end. Sweet sounding over all.

A tonal place between (and not a copy of!!!) a Stingray, a Precision Bass, and a Jazz Bass, and for that reason, love it. And if it’s not enough of a Stingray sound, or a Precision sound, or a Jazz bass sound then BUY ONE OF THOSE in a product market awash with those options.

Does anyone know how many conductors the pick ups in this series have? It would be great to wire up some different coil combinations. I find one switch per coil most intuitive.

Really does not impress me at all, Fender should do way more better like improving their quality in the US series and trying by all means stoping China from selling copies to the world through ebay, amazon and other net pages.
