Great product and very easy to install. I installed mine in a 2015 Kia Optima and is currently running my grill light and will be hooking my dash and deck light to them soon. Tri-State PSE i get this from you and it was very fast getting to me, thank you.

How did your install go? I just bought this and a split single Feniex visor light and I want to get it setup correctly, so I can utilize all the options of the controller as well as the light bar.

Hey Erick, Can you please show how you did the wiring setup for the lights in the demo to be controlled by the mini are the positive connectors connected to just the green or did you use two connectors from the controller. It would be much appreciated. Thanks

Can you put the pattern change wire from the 2 fusion surface mounts to one of the buttons on the controller to change the pattern on both or just do it this way

Can you hook up lights to a different button for them to go back and forth or does that only work with the headlight button or can you have two switches do wig wag one for headlights and one for the white lights and can I hook up multiple lights to the wig wag setting

Question concerning the flash pattern option (top two buttons): When turned off (either by top left or center bottom buttons), does it revert back to the first flash pattern when started up the next time ... or will it stay on the most recent flash pattern when restarted?

I have a question. Button 1 (top left) can be programmed as a wig wag as you demonstrated and button 2 (top right) changes the pattern. If wig wag is not currently switched on button 1, can button 2 be used to control anything else, or once you enable wig wag button 2 only controls the pattern. Basically if you push button 2 on its own can it do something else when you're not using wig wag? Thank you

with a dual color strobe white/blue is it possible to have steady burn on both colors as well as have them strobe by just hooking them up to multiple buttons or will I have to change the flash patterns to go back and forth

Will this work with there app? I've been looking for a siren for my pursuit car for awhile and have yet to find the one I like I've got a old school one that seems to work good but it's starting to go out any tips are anything I've been looking st this style well the bigger version are the whelen hhs style one

Could anyone help me perhaps with some more detailed directions on how to use the momentary feature? I hooked the power and ground to the controller, power to the lights and ground to the lights ( 2 T3's), ran a wire from my switch which I programmed to be momentary, and attached that wire to the two blue wires on the lights, however I am unable to change patterns. Any advice is appreciated

+Letsride600 The outputs on the 4200 mini are all positive, the T3 pattern changer requires negative. You will need to utilize a relay from your momentary button to make your setup work properly.

I got an question hopefully you can help. I was trying to install the feniex 4200 mini and apply the wig wag compatible and when turned on its is very dim. Can you advise me on what I may done wrong

My lights on my TA were very dim because they didn't have a good ground. Moved the ground to a better location and it lit up normal.

So I have a question about the Fenix 4200 Mini Controller. I have a 20 inch single row off road led light bar manufactured by Aurora LED and I'm wondering if the controller will be able to handle carrying current to the light bar as well as my other led strobes without blowing the 20 amp fuse that comes with the controller? The light bar comes with a 10 amp in-line fuse. Also as far as powering my lights I'm assuming that the positive wires to the lights get their power from the controller but do I have to ground out the negative wires separately to the vehicle chassis or is there a grounding screw somewhere on the controller to hook the negative wires to?

Brandon Peterson - Each button on the 4200 Mini is rated for only 5 amps of output. I'm not sure where you heard 20 amps, but it's only 5 per switch. The unit is internally fused and also has built in relays. If the current draw exceeds 5 amps it will trip the system and reset itself.

Will the controller provide enough power for lets say 4 4" work lights as well as some T3's? It seems like just the little 14-16ga wire wouldnt be enough..

Each button is fused at 5 amps, so you will need to know the amp draw of your lights and assign them to the appropriate amount of buttons.

Alright thank you. Do you know where I could find some more detailed wiring instructions for this? I am mostly curious as to if I wire in some t'3s to the top left switch, and use the wig wag feature to change patterns, and wire something else into the top right switch, after I change my pattern and re set the controller will I be able to control what was wired to the top right switch?

In order to use the wig-wag headlight flasher function, it requires the use of the top left & top right buttons. You would need to wire the T3's to a different button. - www.feniex.com/uploads/literature/80929Mini%204200%20IM%20011116.pdf

Can a button be programmed to scroll through menus, or they can only be a on/off?

They are on/off buttons, with the exception of the headlight flasher & momentary options.

Wade Mosier - I would stick to Led lights as each button is rated at 5 amps.

Does this unit have a parasitic draw when off? I am debating putting this in rv to run my outdoor lights. I want to turn off items that already have parasitic draws like usb plugs with leds in them voltmeters and usb plugs all draw from my off grid trailer. I want a control box to kill all of those and If I want them I will turn them on.

With feniex ta’s or hundred series, they have different trigger wires for left, right, and both for center out

Dee UnrulyMax - It’s Not a headlight flasher. It’s simply a flasher for a set of, say, grille lights.

You can program one momentary switch on the 4200 mini, the rest will need to be On/Off.

it absolutely will NOT work with the 4000U only a $3 rocker switch works with that model siren.
