The hairstyles that didnt "belong" on the red carpet made us island gurls so proud...those were the styles we wore to school as kids and young teens....for me the nostalgia hit so hard that i started playing in my hair again...trying out styles that I hadnt worn since i was a child....a lot of those styles are actually passed down from generation to generation....I feel a certain pride wearing them ❤

No it's obvi at the end that she maintains appropriate boundaries with him as every boss should. For many it isn't healthy to be friends with your boss because there are dynamics within a friendship that aren't transferable to being an employee. It can eventually breed resentment. The only way it works is if both have self respect.

Yes she completely changed the standard in the makeup game, especially for celebrities. Back then celebs would put their name on something and call it a brand while Rihanna really created a whole innovative brand with top formulas and is involved in each product. She approached it as a startup Vs a celeb brand. Also the whole shade range thing she did was genius. Every Fenty product I’ve bought has been amazing.

Those of you mentioning Beyonce. People forget that Rihanna changed the whole makeup industry with her brand, especially when it comes to celeb brands. Back in the day celeb brands were all about a celebrity slapping their name onto something others created. Rihanna completely raised the bar. She literally started her brand from the ground, only using top tier well thought out formulas and came out with a shade range that NO other makeup brand previously had. Also, she’s completely involved in each and every product. Then she came out with innovative products, the killawatt highlighter being one of them, the cheek hugging highlighter brush, the magnetic shade sticks. Also, she heavily marketed her stick cream contour in an era when everyone was about the heavy powder contour. So OF COURSE people will question her hair care line less and be more positive towards it. Beyoncé is extremely talented but she hasn’t contributed to the beauty industry in the same way at all. She’s never been a trendsetter with her fashion, makeup and hair looks like Rihanna. The outrage is uncalled for
