Broilers need 20-23 percent protein feed. Laying hens need 16-18 percent protein feed. If your broiler feed is grain and 20-23 percent protein that yes, it would be great! If your broiler feed is pellets or granules, we would not soak or ferment it. One of the reasons for soaking or fermenting whole grain chicken feed is to remove ant-nutrients.

I tried but my feed got wrotten. Was scared to feed that too them when I saw mold

Wow! How long did you let it soak? We only soak it for 24 hours with water and a splash of apple cider vinegar. Then pour off the water (strain it).

@@SavvyOrganicsFarm I soaked it in a fermenting jar for 48 hours. Maybe I should drop down the hours. :)
