They weren't dating, but that's only because they both kept bouncing around it. But make no mistake, they would have reacted to the other one dating someone else as if they had been cheated on. It was unspoken, but they were together. They acted like a couple, did everything together, and Lois apologized to Clark for going off air with Oliver, she felt the need to explain herself to Clark because she felt like they were in that place, the exclusivity place that couples are in.

Erica Durance was I incredible in this scene showing so many emotions. Her character really stood up for what she knew was right Clark was her soulmate. It also showed that she still cared for Oliver albeit as a friend but it was such a powerful scene that really showed Erica's acting chops!! There is no better Lois Lane!!!!!

the problem is and it is quite obvious well to me actually that Lois is in love with Clark and I'd go so far as to say that Lois has been in love with Clark since the first episode she showed up or maybe a couple episodes after she showed up in Clarks life. Secondly it is obvious to me at least that for the longest time Lois and Clark they hid/denied their feelings for each other till Lois and Clark finally got together

She was *in love* with Clark... at the beginning of Season 8. For sure. It was OBVIOUS that first moment when he Told her, he'd be working at the DP. ☺

I believe you’re right. They both were in denial about their feelings for each other and those feelings started very early on. Clark’s was in full panic in the Recruit episode (season 4x13) when she was left to drown in the underground system. When he was looking for her and after he found her it was obvious that she was already well past just being a friend to him.

It was probably the best thing. Nobody can blame Olliie for trying again. But, they already went into friend zone at Chloe's wedding when she confessed feelings for Clark. Sometimes, the straight forward honest approach is the best way. Remember Clark lied to Lana and strung her along for years. No girl puts up with that much b*ll$h!* as Lana did from Clark unless she was head over heels in love.

I'm not sure when Lois started to crush on Clark but at the end of season 7 with Lana finally moving on Lois interest in Clark begins to show and grow with each new episode.....

Nobody knows when Lois started to crush on Clark. But the first clue for us was probably at Cloe's wedding when she came to grips with "these new feelings" she was having about Clark. Remember when Clark read Jimmy's wedding vows and their dance at the wedding was the first time Lois really looked at Clark in a different light.

You see glimpses of Lois’ changing feelings towards Clark in season 7 after her second break up with Ollie. You see it at the end of the episode ‘Apocalypse’ when Lois’ eyes lit up after Clark called her a good friend. In the episode ‘Arctic’, she teared up over Clark’s pain (when Lana left). In season 8, in the episode ‘Odyssey’ Lois gave a smile when she realized she be working close with Clark. In the episode ‘Committed’, Lois admitted to being in love with Clark, though she later lied about it...I could go on-and-on. There are a lot of hints of Lois...and Clark’s...developing feelings. 😊

Season 6 episode 13. She puts on the lipstick and falls in love with Clark after seeing him in the mirror. She comes to the barn for answers on what happened. He shows her the Whitesnake cd she made for him and she says. " Wow, I must have really liked you." Then they look at each other with wonder.

I never got this Oliver and Lois dated for like five or seven episodes and he was gone most of the time this is season 9 so you would think after 3 years he would move on but he’s acting like they had a great relationship

Ollie mentioned a while back that Lois was the only girl that really touched his heart. We have to use our imagination that Mr. rich playboy CEO probably took her everywhere in his private jet. And must've had wild sex and great times. It's always been implied that Lois' got game and she can bring it. Lois is a player.

To me, his interest in Lois in Season 9 didn't have to do with true feelings of love. Oliver's been in a very dark place, and the last time he was happy with someone/happy with his life was when he was with Lois. He is craving the happiness he had at that point in his life more than happiness with Lois specifically.

@@mdufre4 exactly cause when he came back in season 8 he was more interested in Tess then he went to a dark place and Lois reminded him that’s he’s not alone and she’s here for him and he kinda thought that feelings meant love That’s something Clana never got right was after they broke up several times they were never really friends and people got annoyed with them I never felt annoyed at Oliver and Lois I was kinda tearing up during this scene cause I love clois but they have a special place in my heart and I’m happy they became best friends

Why would oliver even go on the show they were broken up for years. Just because he was in a bad place he thought lois would take pity on him and take him back.

Oliver made a complete ass of himself they were broken up for years and he wanted to prove how desperate he was. Lois should have told him to get out of there. Or she shouldnt have let him get off that easy because he was so low he had to pay her actual date off.
