I just met Fernando's music while riding on a Para Transit bus, and I was in heaven and singing along.i asked the driver when I got off what radio station he had on and he explained to me about U tube and going to Fernando's name. i used to attend Calvary Chapel of Denver where Pstr Tom Stipe used to teach. Mr Ortega was a guest and I stayed through all of the services just to hear his heavenly voice. I was hooked! I came in touch with Fernando Ortega by his concert, Live at St. Paul s. For me he is like David to Saul eversince. His music and performance are healing and comforting to me and helps me drawing closer to the Lord. When i later bought his dvd from St. Paul s, i found some bonus tracks on the special features, and i thought this was the same as the wedding at Cana. It was hidden for me for a while but when i found out about these songs i said : He really kept the best for last. I will love it forever and ever.

Is that your daughter I saw briefly? I saw you years ago at a conference with Anne Lotz. You were rehearsing right before it began and a young woman going down the steps fell and you quickly went to her to help her up. I was just a few feet from her but you beat me to her. Wow, you were fast. Her face was red from embarrassment and you were sweet. I already loved your music. Then I loved you too. An act of chivalry captivates any woman's heart. I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. God bless you and your family.

I too deal with anxiety and panic attacks are so horrible. I went to the ER 3 times and they too concluded it was anxiety. However, at that time, it is so frightening. Calling on the Lord Jesus has delivered me from those scary episodes. But God allows us to experience those for a wise reason...to refine our faith and bring us closer to Christ. Thank you for sharing that.

Fernando I listen to your hymns all the time and I have an old Hymnal book. Those old hymns came from people who did not play games with the Lord as a high percentage of the apostate Church plays games and goes to church for entertainment and were saved by saying a prayer at the altar. Leonard Ravenhill David Wilkerson Bert Clendenin Paul Washer have all said 80 to 90% of what is called the church is not even born again including the pastors. Now these are men of God and I'm 69 God saved me in 1984 in the Woods reading the word crawling around on my knees for 4 months so I know what born again is and these last decades have driven me away from churches and I've been thrown out because I rebuked them. God opened the door in South America to work with the school of Christ and that's where I've been for 12 years and off and on for 20. At least the Latino people still have a reverence for God even if they're lost but America for the most part makes me sick and is under the Judgment of God. I pray for God's holy Remnant because I know he will take care of his own including both of you. Fernando's voice gets even better with age! Very unusual. In a Biblical worldview, the pastor is our mental health counselor. If he doesn’t know this, find a new pastor. There is no reason to go it alone when dealing with anxiety.
