Jeff, in Germany you're supposed to drive in the rightmost lane unless you're overtaking somebody. Especially as a busdriver.

Hey Jeff, loving the series. In Germany on the Autobahn you have the so called "Rechtsfahrgebot" which means you must stay in the right lane at all times unless you are overtaking, which you are only allowed to do on the left. The far left lane is for fast cars/drivers only. People will honk at you if you constantly stay in the middle lane. Oh and please do a trip to Munich, my home town! Greetings

Rules of European motorways. Always keep to the outermost lanes unless overtaking (ie if you’re slow you always keep to the furthest right line). You get fined for hogging a lane (and rightly so)

That yellow sign in the bottom left of your map indicates that it's a "Bundesstraße" (kind of comparable to highways with the yellow markings in the US). Blue signs are for the "Autobahn" (interstate). The different colors, shapes and numbers make it really easy to travel in Germany.

Jeff in Europe you can' t go on the left lane in the motorway with buses and trucks, you can only go in the middle and on the right lane.

In germany you always drive on the right lane when it's possible.

In Germany you'd be called a "Mittelspurschleicher" a middle lane lurker

You would be hated on for driving in the middle lane! Those are called Mittelspurschleicher by us in Germany. Those are people who just stay in the middle lane without the need to overtake or something. No one is allowed to overtake you on the right so you would just hold up traffic. This is just a tip to make you more aware of German rules and habits.

Jeff, when you drove in the tunnel, there was a red X on the middle road, that means you need to move to the other lane

The first 1-3 letters of the licence plate indicate the city (B for Berlin, HH for Hamburg, M for Munich, etc) then you have 2 (random or customised) letters and then 2 to 4 (random or customised) letters.

The sound on the bridge is expansion joints. I know some people can't stand it but I find it relaxing.

The Fanfare is a different type of horn made to be heard at high speeds. If you sound the horn with the fanfare switch on the horn will be very different (Similar to a European police siren). Its typically only used in cases where brakes fail and the bus cant slow down, or if theres another emergency. In real life you can be fined for using it, but the game has no penalties related to it. Fun fact: On the entrance ramps to highways in the EU, you are expected to stop and yield when needed. Fun fact 2: Flixbus is a real company.

Your ability to make all games interesting is a true skill. Have you ever thought of doing voiceover acting. Just a thought you have a unique a clear voice. You and Biggs are great. Keep up the good work.

The yellow box with the 85 is the road you’re on. So called “Bundesstraße” basically translates to “federal road”. And the 85 is just the number it was given.

The driver light should be off while driving, especially at night, because it disturbs you when you are driving.

Those signs before the tunnel mean that trucks/buses are not allowed to overtake, but normal cars and vans are allowed to overtake in the tunnel.

So I've been driving in a lot of Neoplan Skyliners and it's a great bus. Really comfortable.

I agree with this too, this is my favorite driving sim game as I love attention to details like realistic maneuver, realistic road noises, realistic road incidents like car broken down on the side of the road and stuff, although there is some glitches but all in all this is amazing game to play specially if you have a steering wheel device with a gear changer stick and a VR man that would be a lot more fun but sadly I don't have those setup haha!! :D

I bought a “used” laptop. It was still in box to the only thing missing was the Velcro strap to tie up the power cord. Saved 400 bucks. I got real lucky.

Hey Jeff. For the euro truck sim for pro mods make sure you have all the dlcs and the updated version of pro mods. If you have all the dlcs you might want to check how many profiles you have cause some of them can crash the game

Bought several reading books which I know that they are anywhere near the value of the keyboard that your looking at but they are still very good quality even though they are second hand / used

The sign that’s white with a black cross means unlimited speed limit, but only on motorways in Germany. It just says 100 because that’s the max speed of your bus.

Great game, will have to pick it up next time it's on sale on Steam, maybe in their Steam summer sale.

the yellow 85 means : Bundestrassse 85. that is like an motorway just slower(country road). Bundesstrasse 85 is like Autobahn A4(just slower). for example: you drive on the highway east 85(autobahn A4) and then you use the country road(however it is called) which is in Germany called Bundesstrasse( and then a number)

Holy hell the front seats at the top of the bus look amazing to ride on if not a little freaky for if the bus leans like it would in this game. Watching this I can't help but think about how nice it must not be to not have to worry about potholes every minute.

The german taxis do have this yellow kind of color and that yellow sign, most of the time on the top. But the car model isn't really accurate, it should rather be like a Mercedes C-Class Also: The yellow 85 or whatever number is the “name“ of the street, if you're on the Autobahn it's blue and says some number. And: The roads in that game are not totally accurate, for example these ending lanes on the autobahn^^ I mean that would be deadly as f***. Imagine someone going 240kph and then his lane is just ending, hahaha. But yeah some is accurate but some stuff like that not.
