The Ferrari 288 GTO Evoluzione "EVO" is seen driving around at the 2016 FCA Ferrari Club of America International Meet 2016. Just five were made!

When group b was banned this car had no where to race and when the road homolgated version of this car which was the 288 gto was beaten by the porsche 959 . Enzo told his engineers to turn this gto evoluzione into a road car to beat the 959 . It was detuned from 650 bhp to 478 bhp was given different lights and wings and became the f40 . The fact the it was coincidentally ferraris 40th anniversary was the only reason that name was given to the f40 . Thats why this car looks so like the f40 because it is in essence the original f40 prototype.

I just realized that youtube filters search results according to what country you are in. thats because this car is the link between the 288GTO and the F40.. it had the f40 features: stubby nose, naca ducts, popup and regular lights but on the 288 platform

This is a all in out race car, it sounds this way because it has some huge camshafts I think. It's that same as a lumpy idle in an American muscle car.

It's also not being put under any load. Race cars hardly ever idle smoothly.
