First video I’ve watched from you, the title suggests you guys are quite knowledgeable, so I was curious, since I gathered quite a bit of knowledge about this topic myself ... and you really do know what you’re talking about. Lots of KZfaqrs talking about the place of the F355 in Ferrari history echo the bar talk about the 348 being crap and then Di Montezemolo came along and righted all wrongs. No, the F355 is, as you correctly pointed out, the link between classic and modern, with new technologies like power steering, airbags and the F1 box built on top of an evolved 348 chassis.

A very nice video thanks. I have the 355 spider (manual) in Rosso Barchetta. Its only one of two spiders in that colour in te UK. Love the dam thing still after 14 years :)

It is probably the prettiest Ferrari ever without all the modern BS they put on them now. I've actually gotten some seat time in a few of these , and the click of the shifter in those gates and the noise from the engine is glorious. I'll take a hardtop with the manual ,of course, in Green with tan or blk interior. New Ferraris do absolutely nothing for me.

355 The prettiest Ferrari that I ever seen I would own one in a New York second but the maintenance cost is too much of a blow do you really have to be rich to own it I have no problem filling out 100,000 but the maintenance is out of this world too pricey

If you're referring to the "major" service, hat runs about $5k every 5-7 years. For a car that holds it's value, over the life of ownership you're coming out of pocket for maintenance. Compare that to the new $50k Toyota/Lexus or Nissan you buy that looks like every other car and looses 65% of its value in 4 years.

At the time the F355 was produced, Fiat owned Ferrari. There are a lot of Fiat parts in it and the reason why it's priced so low (reliability and lack of heritage).

You have no idea what you're talking about. Fiat bought a 50% stake in Ferrari in 1969, through 2014 when Ferrari was IPOd. And no, there are no Fiat parts in Ferrari's except an occasional side marker lite. Don't hate or be ignorant.
