@@gl4989 the sensations you have inside. single clutch, noise, its pure and raw. Speciale is already a refined version, almost too good for its own good.

7:57 is very impressive - no doubt. But what's even more impressive is how effortless is looked.

That's because it was relatively safe. A few oversteer correction moments, still. There's another 20-25 seconds in that lap. Then it really wouldn't look effortless! 😁

2:40 as a great pilot he is .... i bet my ferrari 360 spider, his underwear had skid marks after that oversteering ,,,, great lap , that scuderia really is some trip !

Der 430 Scuderia gehört zu den besten Autos, die Ferrari jemals gebaut hat. Er vereint extrem emotionale Rennsporttechnik mit Alterstauglichkeit. Sehr leicht, laut und schnell. Mit heutiger Reifentechnik den meisten Sportwagen überlegen. Von Michael Schuhmacher mit entwickelt. Eine Ikone mit einem der besten Sauger mit 8 Zylindern der Welt. Heute schon teuer, morgen unbezahlbar. Ich hatte das Glück, dieses Auto schon persönlich auf der Nordschleife zu genießen....atemberaubend

still amazing. the gearbox being a normal (manual) gearbox with a robot on it. That era was short. just from 1997 to 2008. Later replaced with much more efficient gearboxes. Nevertheless amazing italian tech. Extremely fast. Still used today in F1.

Single clutch gearboxes are far more enjoyable and dramatic than DCTs. Hence why Lambo held on to it for so long in the Aventador..

Good drive, but there's clearly so much more time to be saved in that lap. However, it comes at massive risk (ie losing the car), which, for those that haven't experienced Ferrari ownership, explains the joy of driving a Ferrari. Low grip cars, high excitement, high risk. Take your chances and go for it? 😏

PS I'd be interested to know what tyres this lap was done on? With today's road legal slicks, this car would be even more impressive around a track.

Get too aggressive in a Ferrari 430 with tyres from that era and it is bye bye Ferrari (unless you are a top top driver).

Sieht auf dem Video nur so aus. Wenn man das Auto wirklich fährt - auf der Strecke - ist das was komplett anderes. War ein guter Job vom Fahrer!
