In January 2023, European travel expert Rick Steves hosted a series of free, fun virtual events to inspire travelers to their next European adventure.
Guest host Steve Smith joins French tour guide Virginie Moré for a virtual visit to France. We'll start in Paris with the Louvre and Orsay museums and the extravagant Palace of Versailles, then head to the châteaux of the Loire, traditional markets of the Dordogne, beaches of the Riviera, and half-timbered villages of Alsace - and that's just the beginning! We'll compare our various French tour itineraries to help you find the perfect fit.

It's truly impressive for sure! Paris is a stunning capital city, so too, pretty much all of France, from N, S, E & West. We're truly spoilt for choice in France, as the landscape is so diverse everywhere. It's a true gem in the heart of Europe! Take care.

This is a fabulous video production regarding France! IMPO, i think that France is so underrated & so unappreciated @ times & it should never be. It's an amazing country & i think that when we travel somewhere new & in the case of France specifically, somewhere so very special, we should be so grateful & show true appreciation, to have been fortunate enough, to be granted the opportunity to see such a country. As i said to someone else via this comments section, when anyone says nasty or unnecessarily negative things regarding France or Paris, this really says a whole lot more about them & their poor attitude, than about the country & the people they're speaking so negatively about. As my Grandmother used to say....Some people are so hard to please & isn't this true?! We're heading to France later this year, so too, Italy & we cannot wait! We'll enjoy every precious minute of our time in France & we'll take home with us, countless, happily created memories! Tusen takk for sharing! I really enjoyed & appreciated this France special.

Yes indeed & packed with much interesting & great info, regarding one of the most beautiful & stunning country's within Europe. The testament, is in the fact that Paris, is the most popular & most visited city in Europe & has always been so. Paris was always historically & still is, the culinary capital of Europe. Actually, when i hear some people putting down France or French people & their amazing culture, i always think to myself, that their negative comments say a whole lot more about "them" than about the country & the people they've chosen to put down. I'm of primarily Scandinavian ancestry & outside of Norge, France & Italy, are my 2 top favourite European countries for sure, although i pretty much love most of Europe, but France specifically, is a truly magical, romantic, beautiful & special country & Paris, just Wow!!

Can you add timeline chapters to this? It would be much easier to navigate the video with chapters. As long as your first markers start with 0:00 and a description and then continue with times and descriptions, youtube will do the rest.
