Жыл бұрынMor Acro is in Fez Morocco to see what all the hype is about this Morocco travel destination. Named the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco, Fez is steeped in rich history. The Fez medina is one of the largest car free urban zones in the world. We arrive at Le Grand Alcazar and get a quick rundown of Fez Riad building techniques and a little bit of history on Moroccan Riad construction and handicraft. Then it is time to visit Bab Boujloud, our entrance to the Fez Morocco medina. Our strategy is to follow the big road and let the toddler do the directing. We end up exploring Moroccan street food and various type of souks. In the end we make it back to our Riad Le Grand Alcazar for a runner of lamb tajine and seafood Bastilla. We also enjoy Moroccan lentils and candied pumpkin which reminded us of pumpkin pie. Our day in Fez Morocco was full of wonder and enchantment that only Morocco could deliver with it’s rich history and culture.

Hi, First of all I thank Mr. Kevin for this great video of the great city of Fez. The city of Fez was founded in 788, and it was the first civilized city in the Kingdom of Morocco, from culture and industry to modernity so far, while preserving its strong Arab origins... The Kingdom of Morocco starts from the city of Fez to Marrakesh to Ouarzazate after Rabat to the city of Agadir, and no Forget the city of Ouarzazate, the capital of Western Sahara, and here you have made a complete visit to the Kingdom of Morocco in a few lines. Thanks to Kevin's family for this amazing visit, Rumi is not hungry, she has eaten enough on the small streets of Fez

thanks for this video i am big fan of you guys from germany... i hope you can visit another undiscovered side of morocco ... i mean that part beginning from the axis chefchaouen-fes-ifrane-midelt to the east until the border of Morocco-algerien... including sefrou/taza/bouyblane/tawrirt/oujda ... you will not regrett ... i think it is the best part of forgeten morocco with stunnig landskapes and best innecent people

Another great one Kev ..Fez looks great ..the souks are bustling ..but peaceful ..there didnt seem to be the PUSHY sales guys that u find in Marrakech and obviously there seemed to be a GOOD LACK of motor bikes - Rumi's appetite is healthy - Marshallah :)

Fez is one of the most underrated cities in the world, it has a very different cultural spiritual vibe, everything is very special about this city that you think about revisiting over and over. I miss Fez ❤❤❤

Make sure you go to hotel les Merinides after sunset for one of the most beautiful views of the Medina from up above. Drinks over there are expensive, but the view is worth it. There is a view area outside the hotel, but it might not be the safest after dark.

Andreja asked about the need for surveillance cams when there was nothing visible on that street, those narrow alleyways in Fez are notorious for robberies / assaults and theft and so those cameras are needed for later proof to help identify the culprits as well as security to intervene if necessary.

Kevin, it will be silly not to visit Volubilis while you are there, Oualili, the Roman ruins. The word is in Latin and means “generous”, denoting the fertility of the local lands. In the I-III centuries of our era, an ancient Roman city. Check it out and thank me later 😂

Firstly, I hope you enjoy your trip to Morocco. @ 11:06 its note vinegar, it orange blossom water (zzher: that's mean flower in Arabic), used to refresh skin, as a perfume, and in some Moroccan "cookies" :D . Take care of your beautiful daughter.
