I love that they took the weirder enemy designs and made them into bosses. You can tell the people who worked on the game have legitimate love and respect for the series and its fans.
@frogisis2 жыл бұрын
@@IzzySarru I was genuinely amazed that they didn't leave out a single enemy from this stretch of the game. So much thought and care went into everything-I remember reading a statement from one of the main devs before it came out, saying it was great working with passionate people who'd grown up playing FF7 and got into making games because of it, but that one of the things that was the most fun was coming up with logic behind the enemies and things that were just put in the original game out of whimsy and serendipity, and now adding a layer of detail and thought and worldbuilding substance to them. But I had no idea it would go so far beyond just little encyclopedia entries and into literally how these absolute oddities fit into this strange world and how they'll cross paths with our old friends making their way through it (There's so much new Japanese wordplay in Wall Market too, it's insane. The localization is also shockingly good tho). I can't wait to get a PS5 so I can go through it again with the Yuffie stuff this time as well. I'm sad to see they put all that silly Deep Ground stuff back in, but maybe it's just as a lark to give cute lil Yuffie her own little DLC adventure and won't amount to anything outside of that (or is just cosmetically a shoutout to Dirge of Cerberus without the cringe additional lore)-Either way I'm hoping to see soon.

@@frogisis Old comment, but them calling back to Deep Grround, Advent Children and the rest of the FF7 series feels like an attempt to right past wrongs. @@Danker19991The huge studio orchestra credited is actually due to the long recording process, it's 8h30h of music to record, sure there was a lot of recording sessions and it's nearly impossible for the very same musicians to play in each of them, so they call different musicians. The ensemble each session might've had was probably a '55 or so'-piece orchestra.
