I was already preparing a lot of stuff and just watched so i dont forget anything. Great video! You said a few times that there will come a new left side for Gatheres/Crafters if i understood it correctly. This will not happen until 7.1 tho. Maybe its because english isnt my first language and i misunderstood. Keep up the good work!

The +15 wheels might help a little too but could be considered a bit tryhard / extra :') I can't remember what patch it was but they let me hit a nice breakpoint, all NQ mats 100% :D

Since the book price isn't known I look at the gathering classes cost. You could buy 3 books with capped scripts. Apply the same math to crafters. So get enough stuff to cap scripts 3 times. That would be 60 of w/e level 99 collectible you choose to craft- minus what you currently have. If you end up with extras, oh well. buy materia. Not a big loss

Yeah, exactly! Better to have extra's on retainer to hand in on the day rather than worry about having to craft a bunch of stuff on the day!

Thanks for the info! I'm getting in to crafting for the first time with this expansion so I've been looking for something exactly like this to get a solid idea of what to stock up on and how much. If you, or anyone else in the comments, have done this type of crafting before on day 1; how difficult are the master recipes to craft typically? I just finished pentamelding all my crafters and I'm getting started on gatherers tonight, but I feel like I still have a lot to learn about manual crafting. Will a newbie be screwed trying to figure out a manual craft on HQ combat gear or are the pentamelded stats enough to make it fairly simple? Thank you again and I gotta say that I love your vibe! You're very easy to listen to 👌

If Dawntrail is like Endwalker, the key to getting those easy crafts (apart from penta-melds) will be having the HQ ingredients to start each craft at 50% quality. So at a minimum I'd say you'll want to start making HQ versions of the top tier crafting ingredients like thundersilk cloth, so on the day of, you can just pull those out of your bag instead of making them by hand for each item.

Noticed you have only 3 out of the 4 aethersands and are missing the blue one (Mythbrine if I remember correctly). Do you know which category of items they will be able to craft each? Seems like the yellow one will be for potions and food if they follow a similar pattern, right?

I'd recommend looking back at the Master IX recipes. As you said, Sunglit will likely be all the alkahests and potions. The other are scattered across all the gear. Tank weapons were the BTN sand, Melee DPS was MIN, etc...

Combat sets. DoL/DoH left side will come in 7.1 (November), and right side likely won't see any upgrades from current crafted until 7.3 in a year or so

Savage is balanced around crafted gear, you'll struggle way more without it.

You could, yes... but you'd need near perfect Mitigations, and it covers up mistakes potentially to learn/see further into fights easier.

Fights 1 and 2 you should be perfectly fine with current bis especially if you and your team are playing well.. fights 3 and 4 will probably be much tighter on the dps checks and I’m sure the gear would help a ton

Very useful videos. I just wanted to point out that we didn't see new crafting & gathering sets in 6.05. It wasn't until 6.1 where they were added. Would expect the same from this patch cycle.

Week 1/Early prog will always prioritize crafted gear for overmelds over extreme gear, only reason to do extremes atm is for fun, parses, mount or glamour. The gear itself will be irrelevant

Yup but generally not everyone will have time to do Day 1 prog + get all crafted gear etc EX's can be good cheap filler for those first few days

For anyone going into savage with a hardcore or day 1 prog, yeah, savage gear is irrelevant, pentamelded crafted gear is better, but extreme and normal gear can make for some nice economy gear, and there are like 3 classes that might choose to mix some of that into the gear set to avoid getting skill speed, looking at mostly pld, rpr and mch

@@RathVantas Typically the gain on any pentamelded piece will overtake extreme gear, however if the stats on a piece screw over your GCD alignment that’s typically when you swap in some extreme/normal raid pieces but the vast majority will be crafted.

Hey there Biz, I am a WildRift player who enjoyed your LoL content. I noticed you were getting burnt over these last few months so it's good you made a change. I wanted to suggest making Wild Rift content because we need more good content creators frankly.
