Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Guide: How to find & Wrangle the Junon Region Chocobo. When I first arrived in the region I knew that gaining access to the chocobo was going to be a priority. Shame I went completely the wrong way and ended up exploring much of the place on foot. LOL!
Since I learned the hard way, here is a quick guide so you don't have to!

thank you, i remember the help tutorial at the start "throw a rock to distract the chocobo" and the first one illustrated that at the end thus cementing that entire concept into your brain. i mean i doubt any of the developers were engaging their brain with some of these, or just didn't realise what players want... sigh... this is why this will never be as good as the original (the mini games in that were also awful but were at least consistent). rocks sometimes distract chocobos . sigh. thanks for this. back in the 90s no youtube videos for the first game. And i managed it. now.. it's just ugh

The cart isn't too fast, you can sprint while crouching to go faster and easily keep up. Thanks for the vid, though! Cheers!

You can just throw a rock at that 2nd switch as well instead rolling over there trying to catch that cart before it takes off after pushing the switch.

I wasn't a huge fan of Remake, but Rebirth looks a lot more interesting in terms of exploration.

it's not. it's not open world, it's split into regions, and the regions are semi big.. but think of it as giant instanced areas a la guild wars 1 and you'll be less impressed like i was. it's 2024... but there's more than enough hand holding to get you through. because 2024. Also don't go exploring straight away, doesn't work like that... gotta get an item first then your map icons magically appear and you just go from A-Z no exploring necessarily. you're just walking around the map following the dots

@@indefinableification yeah that isn’t right at all, the amount of side content and exploration available is really great even in the beginning Junon region, Corel is already massive and I just entered it too

I felt the same way about Remake being too linear but Rebirth is great. Get it bro, you won't be disappointed.

I swear to god ff7 fun story great combat but incredible time wasting mini games that arent fun and just slows the game down. Its so much filler. Why couldnt they do it like breath of the wild, and just have them in the wild and you capture then

I cant believe i killes every single enemy and boss at first try in this game, but this chocobo bullshit took me 10 tries. Square Enix is just so bad at some things
